제주의 고유색 현황과 도시지역 색채문제 개선을 위한 환경색채조화 방법 연구

Abstract

21세기는 정치, 경제 패러다임이 지배하는 시대가 아니라 문화 패러다임이 지배하는 시대로 전환된다. 그리고 컴퓨터로 인한 일처리 방식이 달라짐으로 인해 환경의 변화를 가져오고 인터넷과 같은 정보의 바다에서 정보의 source에 어느 정도 접근했는가를 위한 감성과 머리가 중요하게 되며 무시되어왔던 여성의 인권이 신장됨으로써 인류반쪽의 문화에서 인류전체의 문화가 될 것이다. 새 천년은 지구촌 문화로서 이에 대처하기 위해서는 우리 한국 문화에 대한 자기 아이텐티티가 확립되어야 하며, 문화를 창조하고 즐기며 소비할 수 있는 참여의 문화로 발전시켜야 한다. 이러한 세계화(globalization)와 지방화(localization)의 동시적 상황하에서 이 두가지 모두 충족시키기 위해서는 그 지역의 자연적, 문화적 배경을 고려하여 필요시 보전(deservation)의 절대성을 고수하고 개발을 하되 지속가능한 개발(sustainable development)하여 지역 아이덴티티(local identity)를 갖춘 시각환경, 색채환경으로 개선해야 한다. 환경디자인에 있어 미란 형태와 색채, 그리고 재질이 종합하여 이루어지나 구성 심리학적으로 보면 색채가 형태에 앞선다. 색채가 인간에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보고 그 중요성과 필요성을 재확인하고 무질서한 색채환경을 계획(planning)을 통해 타지역과의 차별성을 확보하고, 쾌적한 색채환경속에서 제주의 고유 아이덴티티를 확보하기 위한 방안을 찾는데 그목적이 있으며 본 연구는 다음과 같은 과정으로 진행되었다. 첫째, 색채가 인간에 미치는 영향을 개인적, 사회적 영향으로 나누어 살펴보고 색채 환경의 중요성을 확인하였다. 둘째, 색채계획의 이론적 틀이 되는 색채조화론에 대해 살펴보고, 인간과 환경의 관계를 중시하고 인접색과의 관계를 중시하는 자연색체계의 특성과 색채팔레트 구성의 유용성에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 셋째, 환경색채계획을 하기 위해서는 그 지역의 고유색에 대한 조사와 분석이 있어야 한다. 본 연구자는 제주의 자연현상에 나타나는 색채의 특징과 생활양식에서 나타나는 인문, 사회적 색채의 특징에 대해 살펴보았다. 넷째, 제주의 고유색이 분명 존재함에도 불구하고 모더니즘의 영향으로 획일화되고 선형적이며, 무개성으로 인하여 다른 지역과의 차별성을 앓아버렸다. 이러한 제주의 색채환경의 현황과 문제점을 살펴보고, 토양색을 주조색으로 하고 제주의 상징물의 색채를 액센트색으로 하는 팔레트를 마련하여 변화를 위한 계획을 통하여 그 개선방안을 제안해 보았다. 다섯째, 4장에서 만든 색채팔레트를 활용하여 배색유형을 만들고 이를 적용한 모형사례를 통하여 기대효과를 검토해 보았다. 여섯째, 본 연구의 내용 및 기대에 대해 정리하였다. 전통건축에서의 건축이념, 재료사용, 주변환경적인 색채가 사라져버린 현 상황에서 모든 것을 한꺼번에 재정비할 수는 없지만 신도시계획, 도시 재개발, 신건축, 레노베이션 renovation시 조금씩 점전적으로 색채로써 통제하는 것이 적은 비용으로 큰 효과를 볼 수 있는 방법인 것이다. 이러기 위해서는 일반 시민들을 위한 초중고생의 색채교육, 고유한 색채 분위기를 지키기 위한 시민의 약속, 도나 시 그리고 군에서의 행정적인 법과 언론의 노력, 지속적인 피드백을 통해 잘못 적용되고 있는 혼돈과 문화적인 잘못을 올바르고 합리적인 지역 아이덴티티을 향상시키는데 이 연구가 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다 ; There will be a Parading shift from politics and economics to culture in the 21 century. High penetration of computers will change the way we work and our environment. Sensitivity and mind will be considered import to find useful information in the sea of information such as the Internet. Woman‘s right which have not been for only the half of mankind will become complete with the other half. In the new millennium, which will be characterized by its global culture, a strong sense of identity of one‘s culture is needed to nature in a way that more people can participate in creating, enjoying and consuming it. In order to respond to both globalization and localization, natural and cultural backgrounds of such region should be considered in the conversation of nature, so that the optical and color environment can have local identity while undergoing sustainable development. This research was conducted with the belief of that the most efficient and economical method of environment color based on their characteristics. Therefore, the objective of this research is to enhance the image of a city, which is endowed with beautiful scenery and unique culture, but has lost its identity since industrialization through a scientific and systematic color planning The Research was conducted as follows. First, color environment which doesn’t‘t reflect local characteristics due to modernism which emphasizes on uniformity was examined. Second, the need for a sustainable environment color planning at a time when two conflicting issues of development and conservation remain unsolved was examined. Based on nature, local and traditional color which differ from country to country and city to city depending on their environment and culture, we should revive the identity of city through a sustainable environment color planning in terms of ecosystem, human behavior and culture before it‘s too late. Third, standard and analysis of environment color planning were examined. As for environment color planning, the theory of color harmony, a basis of for academic and empirical theorization was studied, Also nature as well as traditional and local colors, which have been created in the courses of adapting to or overcoming nature was analyzed. Forth, environment color planning to NCS (nature color system) was examined. NCS is a general approach to environment color planning. Based on phenomenal science, it differentiates one color from another for environment color planning. Natural color specimen was use to make a palette of nature color, from which colors for architecture were extracted to come op with color combination types. Fifth, Cheju-Island was selected as a site for environment color planning. - Environment factors were analyzed; objectives of designing sere established; color combination types were selected. - Environment color design models were proposed to revive the identity of Cheju-Island and make its current gray facade which not only increases entropy but also hardly differentiate the island from other region more environment-friendly. Sixth, prospect for the future was suggested. If the finding of this research is reflected in environment color planning. - residents will enjoy high quality of life with comfort and stability provided by sophisticated color planning - Citizens will be proud of their region with the recovery of local identity. - Visitors will remember the region as an international city with high image ability. - It will be possible to reduce energy consumption at costs and maintain local characteristics while adapting to nature. Without traditional architecture philosophy, materials and colors, which were once in harmony with the environment, it is impossible to clean up the environment all together. However by using colors to control new city plans, urban redevelopment, construction and renovation gradually, that process can be effective and less costly. In order to restore local identity, confusion and cultural mistakes should be addressed firth through color education for elementary and middle school students, ordinary citizen‘s commitment to maintaining their unique colors, administrative and legal effects of each province, city and county as well as the press and continuous feedback from various of society. I hope my research will contribute to accomplishing that goal.
