반복에 의한 꽃 이미지 표현

Abstract

끊임없이 변화하는 자연과 더불어 살아가는 우리 인간은 자연의 규칙적 변화와 생명력에서 직접 혹은 간접적인 상호소통 방식의 영향을 주고받는다. 그에 따라 자연은 우리일상 생활과 심상에 지대한 영향을 끼치며 더 나아가 예술 활동의 모태가 되고 다양한 방법으로 표현되어 지고 있다. 예술가는 그러한 자연의 변화와 질서 그리고 생명력 속에서 자연의 단순한 모방이 아닌 새로운 심상으로 그 안에 내포하고 있는 또 다른 세계를 재구성, 재창조하여 자연만이 갖고 있는 절대적 아름다움을 포착, 소유하고자 한다. 본인은 이와 같이 표현대상이 되고 있는 자연의 대상물 중 꽃이라는 대상을 소재로 삼아 꽃이 가지고 있는 아름다움을 단순한 형태로 반복해서 표현하였다. 사물의 시각적 사실에 대한 객관적인 묘사가 아닌 본인의 눈을 통해 바라본 대상을 대할 때 느껴지는 이미지를 표현함으로써 그 물체를 형태에 종속시키지 않고 독립적으로 그 자체의 순수함과 아름다움을 표현해내고자 하였다. 이러한 생각을 바탕으로 꽃이 지닌 다양한 상징적인 의미와 동·서양의 회화에 나타난 꽃의 이미지가 어떻게 표현되었는지 살펴보았다. 꽃의 이미지를 시각화하는 방법으로 대상을 주관적인 감성으로 해석하여 단순한 형태로 재구성하였는데. 형태를 단순하게 확대하거나 반복적으로 표현하여 꽃이 지닌 생명력과 아름다움을 강조하였다. 또한 확대 변형에 의해 재구성한 작품과 반복에 의한 작품들을 살펴봄으로써 반복에 의한 작품들이 갖는 리듬적 특성과 조형세계에 대해서도 알아보았다. 작품 제작에 있어서 꽃의 표현은 반복적인 형상과 함께 색채에 중점을 두고 이미지를 표현하였으며 장지위에 분채를 사용하여 강한 색상을 대비시킴으로서 강렬한 시각효과를 극대화하였다. 본인은 작품제작과정을 통해 꽃의 이미지를 다양한 관점에서 보고, 단순화 시키는 방법과 색채를 통해 대상을 표현하고자 하였으며, 강한 대비 속에 반복적으로 되풀이 되는 개별적 형태와 색채의 새로운 해석으로 꽃 이미지와 형상을 연구해 보았다.;We consciously or unconsciously have a need to prescribe some image as tangible one and intend to have our will to express engraved or changed image according to self-sensitivity in the emotion. I intend to express my desire of expression on the art by selecting concreat a material 'flower'in nature. Also, i surveyed modeling effects like simplicity and planity using the method of exetention in georgia o'keeffe's piece.
