학문-기반 예술교육(Dbae)이론에 기초한 중학교 무용교육과정 모형 개발에 관한 연구

Abstract

지난 수십년간 교육개혁가들은 전통적인 사고와 학습내용, 교수방법 등의 변화와 개혁을 위해 노력해 옴으로써, 교육은 개별적이고 분리된 사실을 암기하고 상기하는 것으로부터 통합적이고 개념적인 것에 초점이 맞추어가고 있다. 이에 따라 무용교육도 기능, 지식, 태도의 성취목표와 함께 종합과 통합의 발전과정을 통한 창조과정의 생성, 결정과 판단을 위한 지식의 필요성을 갖게 되었고 과학에서 ‘객관성’에 비유 될 수 있는 아이디어와 지식을 통합하는 능력, 즉 예술적, 분석적 관점과 내용, 그리고 테크닉의 결합능력의 향상과 개발을 추구하게 되었다. 학문에 기반한 무용교육은 직관, 감정, 행동에 의한 경험과 미학, 역사, 문화, 도덕과 관련을 갖고 이 모든 지식을 상호 소통하는 능력을 이해 개발시킴으로써 예술적 경험과 기능의 발전, 다양한 문화에 대한 지식을 습득하게 한다. 이에 본 연구는 변화되는 시대적 요구에 따른 무용교육과정 개발에 목적을 두고 학문-기반 예술 교육에 관한 자료 등을 수집 분석하여 이론적 체계를 구축하고, 일반 교육과정 모형, 체육 교육과정 모형, 무용 교육과정 모형 탐색과 현 중학교 무용교육 과정의 실현도와 의견조사를 토대로 중학교 무용교육과정 모형을 새롭게 설계하였다. 그 방법으로는 문헌 욕구를 중심으로 조사연구 방법도 아울러 채택함으로써 중학교 무용교육의 현실적 상황과 이에 따른 의견을 조사하기 위해 교사, 학생, 자문위원 집단을 대상으로 질문지법, 면접법을 실시하였다. 그 결과 새롭게 개발된 중학교 무용교육과정은 창의성 교육, 인간 교육 이념을 바탕으로 무용창작과 이해, 감상능력과 사회성 발달에 목표를 두었다. 그리고 학문의 지식 구조의 틀을 이루고 있는 창작, 역사, 비평, 미학으로부터 도출되어진 내용은 다양한 학습방법을 통해 기능과 창작능력 개발을 강화하고, 예술로서의 무용의 특성을 발견, 이해하도록 구성되어있다. 지도방법은 탐구학습의 방법을 추구하며 이에 따라 문제해결 능력, 비판적 사고능력, 지적 호기심을 강화시키는데 도움을 주는 발견식, 설명식, 대화식, 해석식, 주입식 등의 교수방법으로 이루어지며, 평가는 학생의 노력, 발달, 성과에 초점을 두고 교사와 학생의 협동평가를 조장함으로써 교사평가 및 자기평가의 방법을 중심으로 이루어진다. 이상과 같이 개발되어진 새 중학교 무용교육과정(DBDEC)은 무용교육에서 학생들에게 알아야 하고, 해야 하고, 느껴야 하는 것이 무엇인지, 또 교사에서 각 학년별 학습에 있어 기능, 지식, 태도에 따른 목표, 내용, 방법, 평가를 명확히 하는데 도움을 줄 수 잇는 방향을 제시할 것이다. ; In the post decades, educational reformists have seen changes and reforms in the traditional educational though and teaching methodologies resulting in focusing on all inclusive and conceptual education away from memorizing and rememorizing individual and isolated matters. The dance education along with its functions, knowledge and goal attainment in attitudinal aspect come up with formation of creative process utilizing knowledge base for decision making and judgement, the ability to combine ideas and knowledge while analytical mind on one hand and pursing the advancement of skill on the otherhand. The dance education, based on academic theory, embraces foresight, emotion experience from actions, history, culture, ethical morality, creating the ability to interrelate all and each discipline resulting in artistic experience and development of function acquisition of diverse cultural knowledge. Thus, the purpose of this study was to develop dance education curricula and design the middle school dance education method based on DBASE in response to the demand of this changing time. It contain the collection and analysis of the information derived from the theory of educational curricula, model, dance education, middle school text books both domestic and foreign. Hence building theoretical system and designing a new middle school dance education model based on data from general education curriculum model, dance education curriculum model, implementation of middle school dance education curriculum and surveys. Its methodology was basically researching published articles and surveys. Also surveys and interview with teachers, students, consultants. The newly developed middle school dance education in aiming for creativity and understanding in dance, the ability to appreciate and the development of sociality on the basis of creativity education and personality education. The creativity, history, and critics which are the knowledge base developing function and creative ability, discovering and understanding the artistic characteristics of the dance. Teaching methodology employs trial studies and subsequent problem solving ability, critical though ability. Strengthening of academic curiosity, which leads to discovery of explanation, dialogue, interpretation. The evaluation focuses on the students’ effort, growth, effectiveness encouraging student-teacher mutual evaluation. The DBDEC which was developed as above should enlighten the student regarding what they should know, act, feel, and will try to guide the teacher to clarify in class work the function, knowledge, goal attainment, content, methodology and evaluations.
