보행자 중심의 문화가로조성을 위한 환경 디자인 모형사례연구

Abstract

현대도시는 산업화와 과학기술의 발전을 통해 물질적 풍요를 누리고 있다. 그로 인해 도시로의 인구집중현상이 가속화되어 오면서 교통난, 주차공간 문제, 도시소음, 환경오염 등의 문제점들이 발생되었다. 이에 도시민들은 쾌적한 생활의 여유공간을 확보 받지 못하고 인간성 상실의 위협마저 받고 있다. 특히 도시화의 모습을 담고 있는 우리의 가로공간은 지나친 경제성으로만 계획되어 개인주의가 만연된 모습을 하고 있다. 이로 인해 보행하기에 접합하지 못한 상태가 되고 있으며 더욱 더 황폐해지는 현상이 나타나고 있다. 이에 연구자는 가로환경을 보다 아름답고 쾌적하고 친 인간적으로 개선하는 작업은 인간의 삶 을 보다 풍요롭게 할 수 있다고 생각한다. 따라서 연구자는 미술학도의 입장에서 보행자중 심의 문화가로디자인을 통해 오픈스페이스의 문제 해결안을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 새로운 환경 디자인 패러다임으로서 시스템적 관점을 취하였다. 또한 다 학문적 접근 방식에 의한 체계적이고 과학적인 방법론을 사용하여 연구를 진행시켰다. 본 연구의 진행은 다음과 같다. 1장 서론에서는 연구의 목적과 연구 방법을 언급하였다. 2장에서는 도시환경에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해서 도시의 기능과 역할에 대해 고찰하고 도시 환경에서의 가로공간의 의미를 분석하였다. ● 환경 디자인에 있어서 학제적 이슈들을 살펴봄으로서 본 연구의 흐름의 맥을 잇고, 그 속에서 환경 미학의 새로운 관점을 찾아보았다. ● 시스템적 관점에 입각하여 도시 속의 가로의 기능과 의미, 중요성 등을 알아보았다. ● 가로환경의 질을 향상시키는 방안으로서 환경 미학적 접근이 타당함을 인식하였다. 3장에서는 디자인적 접근을 통한 가로환경 문제개선의 방향에 대해 살펴보았다. ● 우리 나라 현재 가로 상황을 살펴보고 문제가 무엇인지 파악할 수 있었다. ● 가로환경의 문제를 해결하는 하나의 방안으로서 보행자 활동을 지원하고, 장소성이 있는 문화가로를 조성하는 것이 적합하다고 판단되었다. ● 문화가로 디자인을 하기 위한 가정과 전제조건들을 언급하였다. 4장에서는 디자인 프로그래밍 과정으로서 절차적 이론과 실질적 이론의 과정을 통해 연구자의 의도를 타당성 있게 밝혔다. ● 문화가로조성에 적합한 대상지 선정을 하였다. ● 대상지의 자연환경, 사회적 환경, 물리적 현상, 이용자 행태, 시지각적 특성등 가로 디자인에 필요한 현황분석을 하였다. ● 철학적 문화적, 사회적 현상 속에서 디자인 모티브를 구하고 작품으로서 시각화하는 과정에서 디자인 조형원리를 찾았다. ● 추출된 조형원리를 대상공간에 적용하였다. ● 최종 디자인 모형사례를 제시하였고 디자인 평가의 과정을 거쳐 본 연구의 타당성을 확인하였다. 5장은 본 연구에서 밝혀진 사실을 정리 종합하고 연구의 한계점 기대효과 등을 언급하였다. 본 연구과정을 통해 정보화시대, 감성의 시대인 21세기의 환경 문제 해결은 미학적 관점으로 접근하는 것이 보다 효과적이고 가치가 높을 것으로 기대한다.;Modern cities are enjoying their abundances through industrialization and development in scientific technique. As these trend go, more and more people are rushing into cities, which give rise to serious trouble such as a traffic problem, parking space, noises and environmental pollutions. The citizens is threatened without securing comfortable living spaces in the city by high density and high-rise of buildings, which result in the loss of humanity.Streetscape seems to be a by-product from excessive pursuit of individualism and capitalism. So streetscape is becoming uncomfortable for walking. In these respect, we can improve the level of streetscape more beautiful. comfortable and human. Therefore in this research, we have suggested solutions for problems with the open space through formulating pedestrian-oriented design. This research takes system approach as a new environmental design paradigm. The way the research is conducted with is as below. In chapter 1, the research object and methodology are stated. In chapter 2, for better understanding about the cityscape, we made a brief explanation as to the function and the role of cityscape. An addition, the definition of the term of 'streetscape' in the cityscape is described. - A new perspective on environmental aesthetics is provided through investigation of current academic issues in environmental design. - Based on systematic respect, the function, meaning and importances of street under the urban is introduced. - Aesthetic approach is recognized to be valid as a way to enhance the quality of streetscape. Chapter 3 shows the way to improve streetscape problems through the respect of design - We inquired into the state of streetscape in Korea. - It is strongly recommended to provide spaces for pedestrian as the one of the alternative plan to decrease streetscape problems. Also street with cultural beauty and accessibilities should be more provided. - Hypothesis and pre-requisite for changing to cultural street are commented. In chapter 4, as a design programming process, through procedural and practical theory researcher's intention is validly described. - A proper site for cultural street is designated. - A status analysis regarding as natural, social, physical, attitudinal and perceptive features for street designing is conducted. - A motive is gained in the philosophical, cultural and social environment. Also designing mechanism is found in the process of visualizing. - The extracted designing mechanism is applied to our research object. - A model example of final design is suggested and the research validity is confirmed. In chapter 5, a summary of facts found, limitation and expected effect of the research are provided. Finally, this research offer a conclusion that the environmental problem in 21st century should be handled in an aesthetic perception for more efficiencies and values.
