이혼과 재혼에 관한 목회상담적 고찰

Abstract

After Industrialization, the family structure which is the center of social structure, has rapidly changed; family dispersion. has been rapidly changed and with this family, the central social system has been collapsed. Remarriage has also increased along with the continuous increase of divorce, which is the representative form of family dispersion, has been increased and also remarriage has been grown. Thus, the subjects that used to be put taboo are gradually being taken into interest. Especially since "remarriage after divorce"settled as a new culture and the"remarried family"has become an undeniable form of families, traditional family concepts such as monogamy, patriarchy has also changed. Although the social perception about divorce and remarriage is changing, there are negative stereotypes or impure myths based on these stereotypes in church. Moreover, people are suffering because pastors are disregarding them by simply translating the prohibition of divorce in bibles literally. This thesis is based on the understanding of these problems and will provide what pastors need to comprehend about divorce and remarriage. It also will focus on organizing the appropriate christian values that pastoral counsellors should know through the Biblical view of divorce and remarriage. Finally, I will make an observation on the subjects and methods of pastoral counselling, based on the general theoretical approach and the Biblical approach towards divorce and remarriage. The Bible warns about careless divorce and remarriage. Pastoral counselling needs to focus on the content and quality of married couples through the statements of Jesus who valued the relationship itself rather than legal proceedings or systems. Thus, pastoral counselling should set the it's goal on changing and maturing relationships. This is because the well-being of people involved in a marriage is more important than the legal condition. Therefore, problems of married couples should be disclosed and dealt with even when relationships are ending and might lead to divorce. This view is similar to the Biblical view which accepts sinful human (John 4:7-26) and urges to make decisions for a new life (John 8:11).;산업화 이후 급격한 사회 변화와 함께 사회구조의 중심이 되는 가족구조에도 큰 변화가 초래되어 가족해체 현상이 두드러지고 있다. 가족해체의 대표적 형태인 이혼의 계속적 증가와 함께 재혼도 증가하고 있어 과거에는 공개적인 언급을 꺼리던 가족현상과 관련된 주제들이 점차 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 특히 '이혼 후 재혼'이 새로운 가족문화로 정착하고 있으며, '재혼가족'이 우리 사회에 엄연한 가족유형중의 하나로 존재하게 되면서 일부일처제, 가부장제의 전통적인 가족관이 변화하게 되었다. 이렇듯 이혼과 재혼에 대한 사회적 인식이 변화되고 있음에도 불구하고 여전히 교회에서는 부정적 선입견이나 이에 기초한 부정적 신화 혹은 통념들이 난무한 실정이며, 목회자들은 성서의 이혼금지 명령을 문자적으로만 해석하여 고통받고 있는 이들을 외면하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제의식에서 출발하여 목회상담자가 가져야 할 이혼과 재혼에 대한 필요한 이해들을 제공하고, 성서가 제시하고 있는 이혼·재혼관들을 통해 목회상담자가 알아야 할 올바른 기독교적 가치관을 정립하는 데 초점을 맞추었다. 끝으로 이혼과 재혼에 대한 일반 이론적 접근과 성서적 접근을 기초로 하여 목회상담의 과제와 방법들을 살펴보았다. 성서는 경솔히 이혼하고 재혼하는 것에 대해서 경계한다. 목회상담은 법적인 절차나 제도보다도 관계 자체를 더 중요시하는 예수의 말씀을 통해 부부 관계의 내용과 질에 관심을 갖고 관계 자체의 변화와 성숙을 목표로 삼아야 한다. 왜냐하면 결혼에 관계되는 사람들의 안녕이 결혼이라는 구속보다 더 중요하기 때문이다. 이러한 관점은 죄된 인간을 용납하고(요 4:7-26) 또한 새로운 삶으로의 결단을 촉구하는(요 8:11) 성서적 입장과 유사하다고 할 수 있다.
