라인베르거(J. G. Rheinberger)의 오르간 소나타 Op. 98, No.4 A단조(Tonus Peregrinus)에 관한 연구

Abstract

요셉 가브리엘 라인베르거(Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger, 1839-1901)는 멘델스존(Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, 1809-1847)이후 변화하는 독일 낭만주의 음악에 흔들리지 않고 바로크적인 형식, 고전적인 형식, 낭만주의 형식을 고루 사용한 작곡가이다. 특히 그는 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)와 멘델스존에게 많은 영향을 받았으며 인상주의적이고 색채적인 음악, 표제음악이 선호되어 근대음악으로 흘러가는 시대적 분위기와는 다르게 고전 형식의 음악들을 선호했다. 본 논문 제 Ⅱ장에서는 19세기 낭만시대를 대표하는 빌헬름 자우어(Wilhelm Sauer)의 오르간과 당시 오르간소나타의 형식, 구조적 특징들을 살펴보았으며 Ⅲ장에서는 라인베르거가 어린시절 음악을 시작 할 수 있게 된 삶의 배경과 그가 연주했던 오르간의 구성, 그리고 그의 주목할 만한 작품인 20개의 오르간 소나타의 전반적인 특징과 조성, 형식을 표를 통해 정리해 보았다. Ⅳ장에서는 그중, 네 번째 소나타에 사용한 아홉 번째 시편 선법, 토누스 페레그리누스(Tonus Peregrinus)에 대해 알아보고, 이 선법을 사용한 다른 작곡가들의 곡들을 알아보았으며 라인베르거의 오르간 소나타 No.4 in a minor Op. 98의 분석을 통하여 작품의 특징에 대해 고찰하였다. 연구 방법으로는 국내외 단행본과 논문, 그리고 사전을 참고하여 기술하였고 소나타4번은 Novello 출판사에서 출판한 악보를 참고하여 분석, 첨부 하였다. 분석은 구조와 형식, 화성을 중심으로 다루었다.;Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger(1839-1901) was a composer who had been influenced by Johann Sebastian Bach(1685-1750) and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy(1809-1847) that he differed from the other contemporaries whose trends were characterized as impressionistic music, colorist style, and program music. So Rheinberger was a composer of classical traditions than of various changing German Romantic composers. This thesis is focused on explaining the attributes of 19th century's Romantic organs and organ music in chapter II. Afterwards, I try to find out Rheinberger's life that enabled being a distinguished musician especially in the perspective of organ specification, twenty sonatas In chapter IV, I wanted to study 4th sonata specifically with other composers were also using psalm tone, TONUS PEREGRINUS when they were composing sonatas for I analysed the characteristics of organ sonata No.4 in a minor Op.98. The methods of studying this theme are referring books, theses, magazines, and encyclopedias. And sonata No.4 that I used to analyse the structure in the thesis is Novello edition. The analysis consists of structure, form and harmony.
