20세기 전반의 시대적 배경과 프로코피에프의 음악

Abstract

20세기는 음악의 세기이다. 17세기말부터 19세기까지 음악의 구조는 일반원칙 즉, 으뜸음을 중심으로 음높이를 구성한다고 하는 원칙에는 서로 일치하였다. 하지만 20세기에 들어서면서 이러한 기본 원칙이 적용되지 않는 작품들이 나오기 시작했다. 이것은 20세기의 시대적 배경과 무관하지 않다고 볼 수 있다. 시대의 급속한 변화를 따르지 못하는 인간의 소외감이나 내적 갈등, 불안, 긴장 등이 음악 안에서도 불협화음, 다원주의, 무조성 그리고 다양성으로 나타난 것이라 볼 수 있다. 이 당시 활동했던 러시아의 대표적인 작곡가인 프로코피에프(S. Prokofiev 1891~1953)는 혼란한 20세기에 가장 주목받는 작곡가이며 신고전주의의 발판을 마련 해 준 작곡가이기도 하다. 하지만 그를 신고전주의 작곡가라 하기에는 너무나 다양한 음악적 특징을 가지고 있다. 고전적 기법과 현대적 기법의 적절한 활용은 그가 아직까지도 사랑 받는 작곡가가 된 이유기도 하다. 본 고에서는 프로코피에프가 활동하였던 20세기 전반의 흐름 속에서 그의 활동을 보고자 한다. 또한 그의 바이올린 소나타 2번을 분석하여 그의 개성적인 음악적 표현과 특징을 알아보고자 한다.;20th century is century of new music. From end of 17th century to 19th century, usually, composed laying stress on tonic. However in 20th century, works that basis fundamental is not applied began to appear. It is Received effect that is background of 20th century. Feelings of alienation, inner discord, uneasiness, stress etc..that coused by maladjustment in change are expose by dissonance, pluralism attention, atonality and variety. S.Prokofiev (1891 ~ 1953) that is representative Russia composer is a most observed composer in 20 century and established neoclassicism. But he has various musical characteristic more than neoclassicism. suitable practical use of modern and classic techniques are reason that he is observed up to now. In this report I am going to see his activity through 20th century that he was active. Through analysis of violin sonata 2 ,search his unique characteristic.
