dc.description.abstract본 논문은 다국적 기업의 현지화를 현지인 고용을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 다국적 기업의 개념으로부터 시작하여, 다국적 기업의 현지화와 고용에 관한 과거의 연구를 바탕으로 삼성전자의 사례를 살펴보았다. 삼성전자의 현지인 고용 관행을 통해 알아본 결과, 다국적 기업에게 있어서 현지화는 더 이상 선택의 문제가 아닌 생존에 필수적인 요소이며, 이미 활발한 현지인 고용을 통한 현지화가 최근에 급속도로 진전되어 왔음을 알 수 있었다. 앞으로 다국적 기업의 현지화는 활발한 현지인 고용에서 더 나아가, 효과적이고 창의적인 인사관리를 통한 질적인 면에 더욱 치중하여야 할 것이다.;The increasing role of Multinational Corporations (MNCs) in the world economy points the importance of localization of management through effective human resource management. Human resource management for MNCs includes difficult issues of employment practices of local people. The present study aims to investigate localization and human resource practices of MNCs by examining the case of Samsung Electronics (SEC). The findings indicate that MNCs are hiring more local people and increasingly localizing their management at an accelerated pace. This thesis concludes by suggesting that in this rapidly changing global business environment, the localization of MNCs should not just deal with hiring more local people but focus more on the content of human resource management considering the peculiar composition of locals and expatriates.-
