멀티미디어를 활용한 '무용감상' 단원의 코스웨어 설계 및 구현

Abstract

In 21st century, computer application has been important to utilize information as much as possible due to the quantitative growth of information as well as the development of technology. Such situation has been changing content and methodology in educational environment and it is necessary to use computer educationally and develop multimedia courseware. Up to today, few researches can be found in the literature of dance education, while studies on the development of courseware have been of much interest to many fields. In this thesis, a multimedia courseware for dance appreciation is developed based on the importance of application to computer for education and the needs of courseware for dance appreciation. In the design part of this thesis, we show how easily the database help users to understand the dance appreciation generally and organize the dance appreciation using simulation mode. In spite of the advantages of the sequential process of learning, there also have disadvantages that cause user to be confused if the contents are formed too complex. Hence, we develop the courseware with not only the sequential process but also extra process using hyperlink based on the web. In the production part, we make the multimedia components using Photoshop, Sony Dvgate and Sony OpenMG Jukebox etc. And then we make the courseware which can be operated on Internet Explorer through Dreamweaver from Macromedia. During the learning, we present the test problems for users to evaluate the learning results by themselves and realize the feedback through correction of solution. In the evaluation part, the questionnaire is developed based on the courseware checklist from Korea Educational Development Institute. And the developed courseware is evaluated by the teachers who have experienced over 5 years and high school students. As compared to conventional learning method, the teaching and learning using the multimedia courseware have many advantages such as an improvement of understanding and the more attraction of learning, which are proved through the studies on learning effect in various fields. This thesis shows the potential applicable to dance education and presents the example of courseware which is designed and realized actually in dance appreciation. Even through courseware is not the only way to solve the education problems, it is clear that the courseware can improve the learning effect. The development of dance courseware will be contributed to the popularization of dance as well as the establishment of dance education.;21C 정보화 시대에는 과학 기술의 발전과 더불어 정보의 방대한 양적 증가로 인해 정보를 최대한 활용하기 위한 컴퓨터의 활용이 중요시되고 있다. 이와 같은 현상은 교육 분야에서 교육의 내용과 방법에 대한 변화를 가져왔고, 이러한 시대적 과제에 부응하기 위한 컴퓨터의 교육적 활용과 멀티미디어 교재의 개발은 그 필요성을 인정 받게 되었다. 현재 각 분야에서 교육용 소프트웨어의 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있음에 반해, 무용 분야에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 컴퓨터의 교육적 활용에 대한 중요성과 '무용 감상' 단원 교재 개발의 필요성을 바탕으로 '무용 감상' 단원에 대한 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 구현하고자 한다. 이 연구에서 개발한 코스웨어를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 설계 부분에서는 자료 제시를 통해 무용 감상에 대한 전반적인 이해를 도모하고, 모의 실험형의 구조를 이용하여 실제 감상을 할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 또한, 순차적인 학습 진행을 기반으로 학습의 흐름을 설계하였지만, 복잡한 내용에 대하여 순차적인 형태로 구현하였을 경우 더 혼란스러워질 우려가 있으므로 웹 형태를 혼합하여 단원간의 이동을 자유롭게 하였다. 둘째, 구현 부분에서는 Photoshop, Sony Dvgate, Sony OpenMG Jukebox 등의 소프트웨어를 사용하여 멀티미디어 요소를 제작한 후, Macromedia사의 Dreamweaver를 사용하여 Internet Explorer에서 실행되도록 프로그래밍을 하였다. 학습을 진행하는 과정에서 자신의 학습 결과를 스스로 평가할 수 있도록 형성 평가를 제공하고, 정답 확인을 통해서 피드백을 제공할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 셋째, 평가 부분에서는 한국 교육 개발원에서 연구한 '교육용 소프트웨어 심의 기준표'를 근거로 평가 설문지를 작성하고, 교육 현장에 5년 이상 근무한 교사와 현재 고등학교 2, 3학년에 재학중인 학생을 대상으로 코스웨어를 학습한 후 평가를 하도록 하였다. 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 통한 교수-학습은 기존의 전통적인 학습 방식에 비해 학습자의 이해력을 높이고, 흥미로운 학습 경험을 제공할 수 있는 방식이라는 사실은 타 분야의 학습 효과에 대한 연구를 통해 이미 증명되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 사실을 바탕으로 무용 분야의 코스웨어에 대한 적용 가능성을 보여주고, '무용 감상' 단원의 코스웨어를 실제로 설계, 구현함으로써 예를 제시하고자 하였다. 코스웨어가 교육의 모든 것을 해결할 수 있는 최선의 방법은 아니지만, 학습자의 학습 효과를 높일 수 있는 교육의 한 형태임은 분명하다. 시대에 부응하는 컴퓨터를 활용한 무용 교재의 개발은 무용 교육의 위상 확립과 함께 무용의 대중화에 중요한 역할을 담당할 것으로 기대된다.
