형태와 색채의 변형

Abstract

고대로부터의 mimesis라는 개념처럼 인간의 내면에는 자연에 대한 모방 본능이 있다. 거대한 자연의 법칙 속에서 생성과 소멸을 반복하는 순간적 생명체인 인간은 언제나 객체일 수밖에 없다. 인간에게 생명의 근원이자 모태로서 자연은 동경의 대상이며 인간 정신의 안식처이기도하다. 화가에게 있어 작품의 창조는 공간 속에 생명을 부여하는 행위이다. 생명력의 에너지인 자연은 화가의 마음을 움직이며 이렇게 태어난 작품은 보는 이들의 마음을 움직인다. 이러한 작품에 있어서의 생명감은 작가의 감정과 의식의 반영을 통하여 불어넣어지며, 작가는 내면의식의 표현과 전달을 극대화할 수 있는 나름의 독자적인 방법을 시도한다. 이러한 방법으로 미술에 있어서 양식이 형성되어지며 오늘날 현대미술에 있어서 다양한 양식이 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 무수하고도 넘치는 양식들이 있지만 한국화에 있어서 두 가지 흐름인 구상과 추상이라는 형식은 변함없이 유지되고 있다. 본인은 구상적 형상을 통한 내면적 의식의 반영이라는 테마를 기본으로 작업을 함에 있어서, 형상표현이라는 측면에서 외부 대상인 자연을 통하여 화면에 형상을 구체화시키고 이런 구체화된 형상에 내면의식을 불어넣는 과정에서 구가하게 되는 변형이라는 표현형식을 다루어보았다. 내면의 의식화 과정을 통하여 도출되는 형상의 변형의 의미를 용이하게 전달하기 위해서 조형의 두 가지의 기본 형식인 형태와 색채로 나누어 이해를 도모하였으며, 자연에 상징적 의미를 부여하여 인간의 의식과 삶을 투영하는 형상화된 대상으로서 나무를 설정하여 변형 표현을 함에 있어서 특별히 상징적 변형이라는 주제로 연구해 보았다.;There is an instinct of imitation in the inside of human just as the concept of mimesis from ancient times. Repeating creation and extinction in the law of huge nature, human beings always become the object. Nature as the origin of human life is the object of yearning, and a shelter of human spirit. Creating work for an artist is a behavior of providing life to space of image. Nature, energy of vitality moves an artist's mind, and work created like this moves a viewer's heart. Vitality in work is inspired through the reflection of an artist's emotion and consciousness. A style is made in art by this way, and various styles come out today's modern art. There are countless expression ways, but concreteness and abstraction, two major flows of in Korean paintings are maintained as before. Based on the theme, "the reflection of inner consciousness through concrete form", I treated an expression from of transformation in the process of realizing image on a canvas and inspiring the realized form with inner consciousness, taking nature as an object in the aspect of image expression. To easily deliver the meaning of image transformation through the process of forming the inside, I divided modeling into two basic forms, shape and color for helping understanding. Taking a tree as an object of putting human thoughts and life by giving a symbolic meaning to nature, I studied with the subject of symbolic transformation in expressing transformation.
