스마트폰 앱을 이용한 미숙아 영양 교육 프로그램 개발

Abstract

최근 의료 기술의 진보로 미숙아의 생존율은 증가하였고, 미숙아 치료술도 발달되어 왔다. 미숙아는 성장발달을 위해 출생 후 영양 요구량이 높으므로 영양관리가 매우 중요하다. 또한 생명유지 외에도 신경학적 문제 등 다양한 합병증 발생 우려로 인해 미숙아를 돌보기 위해서는 세심한 주의가 필요하며, 퇴원 후 가정에서 미숙아 양육을 주로 책임져야하는 어머니의 부담감은 더욱 크다. 따라서 의료진은 미숙아 어머니들이 미숙아를 돌보기에 있어 지식과 자신감을 높혀 주어야 한다. 인터넷이 확산되면서 웹의 교육적 활용에 대한 관심이 증가하였고 웹을 통한 교육 프로그램들이 제작되어 효과를 검증하였다. 스마트 폰이 출시된 시점을 이후로 웹을 넘어서 스마트 폰을 이용한 광범위한 이용과 활용 방안이 각종 분야에서 연구되기 시작했으나 미숙아 영양 교육과 관련된 연구는 시도되지 않아 본 연구에서 미숙아 영양 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 교육 프로그램의 개발 과정은 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가의 단계를 거쳐 완성하였다. 문헌 고찰과 검색을 통해 영양 교육 내용은 미숙아 영양, 모유 수유와 장관 영양으로 설계하였고, Mac 시스템 환경에서 iPhone SDK(Software Development Kit)4.2를 이용하여 개발하였으며 전문가의 타당도 검증을 받은 후 수정 보완하였다. 미숙아 영양 프로그램을 실행하는 상황을 시나리오화 하고 실제 미숙아 어머니에게 실행해 보도록 한 후 최종 수정하였다. 미숙아 영양 프로그램을 스마트 폰 앱으로 구현함으로써 정보 접근성이 더 용이하고 시간의 제약을 받지 않고 반복적 학습을 할 수 있어 미숙아 어머니에게 유용할 수 있다. 미숙아 관련 교육 프로그램이 많이 개발되고 있지만, 영양에 초점을 두고 접근성이 용이한 스마트 폰 앱으로 교육 프로그램을 개발 하였다는 데에 의미가 있다고 생각된다. 영양에 국한되지 않고 더 다양한 영역의 미숙아 관련 부모 교육을 스마트 폰을 기반으로 개발하여 실행해 볼 것을 제언한다.;Recent progress in medical techniques has brought significant increase of the survival rate and development of advanced treatment of premature infants. Premature infants require a higher nutritional level as they possess minimal nutrient stores from the prenatal environment. Thus, nutritional care of premature infants is very important because it is essential for their survival and long-term developmental outcomes. Typically in Korea, mothers of premature infants are respossible for providing adequate nutrition for their infants after they are discharged. Therefore, medical teams should provide mothers with accurate information about health and developmental status of their premature infants and educate mothers about how th take care of their prematur infants. With the flourishing of the Internet, interest in the educational use of the Web has increased. By the time the smart phone were launched, research on the use of smart phones had started in various fields. Very little study, however, on the effect of nutritional education program for premature infants has been conducted. The purpose of this study was develop a nutritional care program for premature infants using smart phone application. The proposed study used smart phones because they would be more effective than the Web due to the minimum restrictions of time and space. Development of the proposed educational program was completed through the following five stages; analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. First, the component of the educational program wee analyzed and determined by reviewing previous literature. Then, the educational program was designed and developed using iPhone SDK(version 4.2), a software development kit in the Mac system environment. After experts' validation, the educational program was implemented to mothers of premature infants using the iPhone. Finally, the effect of the educational program was evaluated. The result of this study found that the implementation of the nutritional program using smart phone was useful to mothers of premature infants because its accessibility led participants to study repeatedly without restraint of time. Although various educational programs for premature infants have been developed, the present study made significant contribution because it focused on developing a nutritional program using smart phones. Further studies may develop various programs for premature infant care in conjunction with digital media.
