Claude.A.Debussy의 피아노 음악에 관한 연구

Abstract

19세기 후반 예술 전반에 걸쳐 새로운 사조가 나타나게 되는데, 당시 독일의 지배적인 낭만주의 음악에 반대하여 새로운 음악을 개척한 드뷔시는 자유로운 형식과 다양한 화성, 새로운 음색 기법을 사용하여 인상주의 음악을 확립하였다. 드뷔시는 오페라, 관현악, 실내악 등 여러 장르를 작곡하였지만 특히 피아노 음악은 그의 작품에서 매우 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있으며 독특한 음악 어법을 통해 20세기 작곡가들에게도 많은 영향을 주었다. 본 논문에서는 인상주의의 배경과 음악사적 측면에 관해서 살펴보고 「L'isle joyeuse」를 통해 드뷔시 피아노 음악에서의 인상주의적 기법과 특징을 살펴보고자 한다. 드뷔시는 화성, 음계, 리듬, 형식 면에서 새로운 기법을 사용하였는데 그 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 화성에 있어서 기능적인 화성을 탈피하여 독립적인 화성으로써 사용하였다. 또한 전통에서 금지시하였던 4•5•8도의 병행을 사용하였고 9•11화음, 부가 화음 등을 사용하여 인상주의 색채를 표현하였다. 둘째, 여러 종류의 선법과 온음음계, 5음 음계를 자유롭게 사용하여 기존의 조성 체계를 벗어났다. 셋째, 복합 박자와 헤미올라 리듬, 강박에서의 쉼표 사용, 당김음 등을 통해 규칙적인 박자의 개념을 벗어나려 했다. 넷째, 형식은 고전주의 이후의 형식에 기본 틀을 두었으나 변형된 형태를 즐겨 사용하였다.「L'isle joyeuse」의 경우 도입부와 코다 를 포함한 3부 형식을 취한다. 「L'isle joyeuse」는 이러한 드뷔시의 독창적인 작곡 기법이 돋보이는 작품으로 화려하고 묘사적인 기법을 통해 기교적으로 매우 난해한 작품으로 알려져 있다. 또한 드뷔시의 원숙기에 해당하는 제2기의 작품으로써 인상주의 피아노 음악의 대표작이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 드뷔시의 생애와 작품, 피아노 음악의 특징을 살펴보고「L'isle joyeuse」를 분석함으로써 그의 음악 세계에 관한 이해를 돕고자 한다.;For new trend to appear over the wholes artistic the 19th century later, Claude Achille Debussy(1862-1918) who opposed the Romantic music prevailing in at that time Germany to explore a new music succeeded in establishment of Impressionism music with free forms, vague tonality, new tone technique. Debussy composed various genres of music encompassing opera, orchestra and chamber music. specially, a lot of to the 20th century composers through music usages piano music is occupying a position important very at his works, and to be characterristic affected it. This study reviewed the terminology 'Impressionism' in view of art and background of 'Impressionism, 「L'isle joyeuse」in order to look into an 'Impressionism' technique and characteristics. Debussy to have used a new technique are as follows in the chords, the scale, a rhythm, format. First, he depart from functional harmony, and he used the independent chords. Also, he used the traditional taboos such as 4•5•8 parallel chords, 9•11chords and additive chords, so he expressed to Impressionism tone. Second, he used freely many different kind of mode and whole tone, a pentatonic scale, and he depart from existing tonality system. Third, he effort to concept of a regular tempo through compound meter and hemiola, syncopation etc. Fourth, although he based on post-Classical form, he used a changed form. In case of 「L'isle joyeuse」has the 3 part form that included introduction and Coda. 「L'isle joyeuse」has been known as very difficult through creative compositionand and descriptive technique. Also, it is masterpiece of Impressionism piano music that belong to the second part of Debussy music. This study reviewed help us about understanding his music through Debussy life and the work, characteristics of piano music.
