키오스크 인터페이스 (GUI)디자인에서 버튼의 시각적 요소의 만족도에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 키오스크의 인터페이스 디자인에 대해 알아보고 인터페이스 디자인에서 GUI 디자인에 관심을 두고 그 중 버튼의 시각적 요소를 조사하고 그에 따른 사용자의 만족도를 연구하여 키오스크 인터페이스 디자인에서 버튼의 디자인 가이드라인을 위한 디자인 요소의 추출을 목적으로 한다. 키오스크의 편리성과 시스템의 발전으로 그 활용범위와 종류의 수가 늘어나고 있고 그에 따른 키오스크에 대한 연구도 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 그 연구의 내용이 키오스크의 개론이나 키오스크의 시스템 공공 시설물로서의 연구 등이 대부분 이였다. 인터페이스에 관련된 연구도 있었으나 인터페이스 디자인에 따른 사용성에 대한 연구 등이 주를 이루거나 GUI 요소들 특히 아이콘 등에 대한 연구들이 대부분 이였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 키오스크의 특징 및 발권기의 특징을 고려하여 인터페이스 디자인에서 버튼의 시각적인 요소들에 관심을 두고 또한 그에 따른 사용자의 만족도를 고려해 보고자 하는 시도로 본 연구를 진행 하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 키오스크중 발권기를 중심으로 연구를 진행 하였으며 현재 사용도가 높은 발권기들을 중심으로 사례조사 및 현황 분석을 실시하였다. 이 조사를 바탕으로 버튼의 기능 및 시각적 요소들을 추출하고 분석하였다. 그 결과 버튼의 디자인에 있어서 시각적 요소들 중 버튼의 형태와 크기에 중점을 두고 각 기능에 따른 버튼의 만족도를 설문조사 하였다. 설문조사 결과를 수집하여 분석한 결과를 토대로 인터페이스 디자인에서의 버튼의 시각적 요소의 만족도에 따른 디자인 요소들을 추출하고 정리하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 키오스크(발권기) 인터페이스 디자인에서 중요한 요소들이 어떤 것인지 또 그에 따른 만족도를 조사, 분석하고 디자인 요소들을 추출함으로서 앞으로 각각의 다양한 키오스크에 따른 특징에 부합하는 인터페이스 디자인의 연구 및 세부적인 디자인 요소들에 대해 연구 하는 데 도움이 되길 바라며 앞으로도 이러한 구체적이고 다양한 연구들이 활발하게 이루어 졌으면 한다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the interface design of kiosk and to investigate the visual factors of the buttons with the interests for the GUI design in the interface design. Also, it aims to extract the design factors for the design guideline of buttons in the kiosk interface design through the research of the users' satisfaction. With the convenience of kiosk as well as the development of system, the number of application ranges and the kinds are increased and the research for the kiosk is also actively performed. However, the contents of the study were the mainly the introduction of kiosk or the studies of kiosk as the public facility. Although there were the researches for the interface, they were mainly about the usage for interface design or GUI factors, in particular, icons etc. Therefore, in this study, considering the features of kiosk or ticketing machine, the authors underwent this study with the aims to consider the users' satisfaction based on the interests for the visual factors of buttons regarding the interface design. In this study, the study was undergone based on the ticketing machine among the kiosk and the authors performed the case study as well as analysis of current status centering around the frequently used ticketing machine. Based on this research, the authors extracted and analyzed button functions as well as visual factors. As a result, regarding the designs of the buttons, the authors performed the survey for the satisfaction of the buttons according to each function based on the shape and size of the buttons among the visual factors. According to the analytical results from the survey, the authors extracted and documented the design factors depending on the satisfaction of visual factors of buttons in the interface design. Therefore, the authors believe that this study could be the basis of the more detailed and various studies in the future and become the motivation for the researches for interface design study and detailed design factors that meet the features of various kiosk by researching, analyzing and extracting design factors for the important factors in the kiosk (ticketing machine) interface design.
