<<神異經>> 試論 및 譯註

Abstract

魯迅의 《中國小說史略》을 비롯하여 中國小說애 관한 여러 硏究書에서는, 《神異經》을 漢代小說에 포함시키고, 六朝 方士틀에 의해 가탁된 것이라고 설명하고 있다. 그 成立 背景과 作者·注者에 대한 문제는 역대 학자들에 의해 많은 논쟁이 있어 왔지만, 확증할 만한 자료의 不在로 여전히 해결되지 않은 상황이다. 단지 《神異經》에 대해 접할 수 있는 것은 '《山海經》을 모방한 서술' 또는 '奇異하고 正道에 어그러지는 글'이라는 단편적인 평가일 뿐이다. 그간 中國小說硏究는 明淸小說에 집중되어 있었고, 상대적으로 志怪에 대한 연구가 미약했던 것이 사실이다. 특히 국내외로 《神異經》 에 대한 분석적인 論究는 찾아보기 힘들며, 《神異經》에 대한 譯註는 어느 곳에서도 시도된 바가 없는 실정이다. 이에 방법론적 모색 이전에 原典의 성립에 대한 기본적인 검토와 함께 原典 자체에 대한 정확한 이해가 선결되어야 한다는 판단에 이르게 되었다. 따라서 本稿에서는 《神異經》 原典에 대한 國譯 및 註釋을 시행하였다. 本稿의 논의는 第一部와 第二部로 나뉘어 전개된다. 第一部에서는 《神異經》의 성립 특성에 관한 기본적인 사항들에 대해 검토해 보았다. 먼저 '東方朔擺' 眞僞問題와 版本問題에 대해 다루었고, 《神異經》의 體例가 八卦와 陰陽五行說에 입각한 서술이라는 점에 촛점을 맞추어, 각 篇의 내용들에 대한 기본적인 검토를 하였다. 마지막으로 中國 傳統的 小說觀에 입각하여 《神異經》을 소설의 개념으로 파악한 연후, 小說史的인 흐름에서 神話와 六朝의 志怪를 잇는 橋梁的 位置로서의 位相을 확인하였다. 다음으로 第二部에서는 本稿에서 시행한 譯註의 原則에 대해 간략하게 논의한 다음, 《神異經》 63개 條目과 佚文에 대한 완전한 國譯 및 註譯을 하였다.;Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經) has been known to be a fiction dealing with unusual matters occurs in earth written by Dongfang Shuo(東方朔). It should be emphasized that one has to read them between the seuteuces no by simple superfictional expression. We have to appreciate this fiction because this articles are ample nikults of imaginations of a groups of Chiness who respect this native totemism and this represents an unique and comprehensive ideal ism of Chiness. However Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經) has been treat as grotesque by Confusionism because of it's atonosphere of fantansy until now. thus Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經) has been a fiction of mere mistery stories. There has been no intensive and basic studies on Shan-Hai-Jing(山海經). Since then afundamental reeualuation and correct translation were attempled rather than approaching it's study methodolocy. This study includes two steps : One step, fundamental study on Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經). Two step, interpretation of Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經), The first part will deal with the author, publication, stylistic characterization and analysis of the content and position of Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經) in the histori of Chiness literature part two is a entire interpretation of sixty three volumes of Shen-Yi-Jing(神異經).
