훈민정음의 제자 원리를 활용하는 한국어 자음 지도 방안

Abstract

한글은 철학적 원리, 음운론적 지식을 바탕으로 상형의 원리를 이용하여 창제한 음소 문자이다. 특히 자음자인 경우는 글자 모양이 조음기관의 모양(조음위치), 조음방법을 상형하여 만들어진 문자인데 제자 원리를 알게 되면 그 발음 요령을 동시에 터득할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 한국어 음운현상을 설명하는 데도 유용하다. 이에 본 논문은 초급 외국인 학습자를 대상으로 훈민정음의 제자원리를 활용하는 한국어 자음 지도방안을 고안하는 데 그 목적이 있다. I장에서는 한국어의 발음 교육에 관련된 선행연구들을 살펴보고 본 논문의 연구목적과 연구대상을 밝힌다. II장에서는 훈민정음의 창제 취지와 『訓民正音』에서자음자와 관련된 제자 원리를 살펴본다 III장에서는자음자가 조음위치와 조음방법을 상형하는 훈민정음의 제자 원리를 활용하여문자 모양을 통해서 해당 자음의 발음 요령과 자음간의 대립 관계를 인식시키고 한국어 교육의 초기 단계에서한글 자모 (字母) 교육과 함께 발음 교육을 시행하는 자음 체계에 따른지도방안을 제시한다. IV장에서는 자음에 관련된 음운현상에 대하여 역시 훈민정음의 제자원리를 최대한 활용하여 체계적이고 효율적인 음운현상에 따른 지도방안을 제시한다. 자음군단순화는‘牙 舌 脣 齒 喉’의 훈민정음의 초성자 조음위치 순서를 활용하여그 순서 중 앞에 있는 자음이 남고 뒤에 있는 자음이 탈락한다는 것으로 설명하고 있다. 경음화는 ‘평음+평음=경음’의 훈민정음 제자원리를 이용하여 경음화을 지도하고 있다. 격음화는 평음자에 가획하여 격음자를 만드는 원리로 설명하고 있다. 비음화는 문자모양과 자음의 상대적인 세기 사이의 유사성과 자음 강도 이론을결합하여 해석하고 있다. V장에서는 논의를 요약·정리하고 앞으로의 연구 방향과 전망을 제시한다.;Hangul, a kind of phoneme language created by using the hieroglyphic principle, is based on philosophical principle and phonology. Especially for consonant, the character style is determined by the articulator's shape (pronunciation positions) and pronunciation method. By learning this principle, we’ll master the key points of pronunciation, which will be helpful to interpret phonetics change. The purpose of this paper is to make plans for Korean consonant-studying with the unrestrained use of "Hunminjeongeum" for foreign beginners. In Chapter I, the paper analyses research related to Korean past pronunciation teaching and raises its purpose and object. In Chapter II, the paper analyses the intention of word - formation and the principle of consonant word-formation in the book "Hunminjeongeum". In Chapter III, the paper introduces the teaching scheme of applying freely "Hunminjeongeum" word-formation principle in the primary stage of Korean language education including simultaneously word and pronunciation education. In Chapter IV, for phonetics changes relevant to consonant, the paper puts forward the systemic and effective guidelines for making flexible use of "Hunminjeongeum" word-formation principle. In Chapter V, the paper makes a conclusion and shows the future research direction.
