지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식에 미치는 영향

Abstract

In this study, we aim to explore the diversity of early childhood career education methods by examining the effect of role-play through experiential learning of local community on infant's career awareness. For this purpose, research questions related to sub-elements of career consciousness - self-awareness, awareness of parents' jobs, understanding of the world of works and awareness of value and importance of work are as follows. 1. What is the effect of role-play through local community experiential learning on the awareness of self-awareness among child's career awareness? 2. What is the effect of role-play through local community experiential learning on the understanding of the world of works among child's career awareness? 3. What is the effect of role-play through local community experiential learning on the awareness parents' jobs among child's career awareness? 4. What is the effect of role-play through local community experiential learning on the awareness of value and importance of work among child's career awareness? The tools used in the research are reconstructed based on test tool items of from Lee eunsuk's『child's career awareness development study depending on parents' jobs』who translated and developed the items used in Betty A. Beach (1988)'S 『Children at Work : The Home Workplace』targeting 7months ~ 18 years child to find the effects of role-play base on local community experiential learning on child's career awareness. The experimental group infants have experienced local community experiential learning 4 times according to the topics and have progressed the role-play about it. While the control group have not experienced experiential learning and have done the same role-play as the experimental group after indirect experience through story-telling and fairy tales. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, role-play through local community experiential learning had a little effect on child's self-awareness. It may be because that infants of experimental group and control group had experienced the activity related to self-awareness the theme of 'Kindergarten and friends' and role-play through local community experiential learning was not relevant to self-awareness directly. Second, role-play through local community experiential learning raised child's awareness of parents' jobs, understanding of the world of works and awareness of value and importance of work and had a good effect on career education. The result of this study, although the correlation with self-awareness among career awareness elements was lack but the awareness of parents' jobs, understanding of the world of works and awareness of value and importance of work had raising effect, so we concluded that role-play through local community experiential learning has a positive effect on infant's career awareness. The implications of this study are as follows. We have proceeded field research about career education which is still insufficient and have established the foundation of future career education study. And we have established the foundation of introduction of career education to school curricula by analyzing kindergarten curriculum 2007 according to the requirement of times that 1,2 grades of elementary schools were strengthened. In addition, we help seek several career education teaching methods by suggesting role-play through experiential learning as an education teaching method, respecting infant's development and play.;본 연구는 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지 살펴봄으로써 유아기 진로교육 교수학습방법의 다양화를 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해 진로의식의 하위 요소인 자아인식, 부모의 일에 대한 인식, 일의 세계에 대한 이해, 일의 가치 및 중요성에 대한 인식과 관련한 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식 중 자아인식에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 2. 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식 중 부모의 일에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 3. 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식 중 일의 세계에 대한 이해에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 4. 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식 중 일의 가치 및 중요성에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울 동대문구 소재의 H유치원 원아 59명으로 그 중 29명은 실험집단, 나머지 30명은 비교집단이다. 연구에서 사용된 도구는 Betty A. Beach(1988)의 7개월~18세 연령의 아이들을 대상으로 한 『가정에서 부모의 일에 대한 인식의 발달연구』에 사용된 질문내용을 번안하고 개발한 이은숙(1996)의 『부모의 일에 대한 유아의 진로인식 발달 연구』의 검사도구문항을 기초로 본 연구자가 평정하기에 용이하도록 재구성 하였다. 실험집단은 생활주제에 따른 지역사회 현장체험학습을 경험하고, 그와 관련된 역할놀이를 진행하였다. 반면 통제집단 유아들은 현장체험학습을 하지 않고, 이야기나누기·동화를 통한 간접경험 후 실험집단과 동일한 역할놀이를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이는 유아의 자아인식에 미치는 영향이 크지 않았다. 실험집단과 비교집단 유아들은 3월에 ‘유치원과 친구’를 주제로 자아인식과 관련된 활동을 이미 경험하였고, 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 자아인식과 직접적인 연관성이 크지 않았기 때문에 긍정적인 결과가 도출되지 않은 것으로 추측된다. 둘째, 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이는 유아의 부모의 일에 대한 인식, 유아의 일의 세계에 대한 이해, 일의 가치 및 중요성에 대한 인식을 높여주며 진로교육에 효과적인 교수학습방법이다. 본 연구의 결과 진로의식의 요소 중 자아인식과의 연관성은 부족했으나, 부모의 일에 대한 인식, 일의 세계에 대한 이해, 일의 가치 및 중요성에 대한 인식은 향상된 결과를 도출하여 지역사회 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이가 유아의 진로의식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 아직 미미한 유아기 진로교육에 대한 현장연구를 진행하여 향후 진로교육 연구의 토대를 마련하였다. 그리고 초등학교 1,2학년군까지 강화되는 진로교육의 시대적 요구에 따라 2007 유치원 교육과정을 진로교육의 관점으로 분석하여 학교교육과정에 진로교육을 도입하는 기반을 마련하였다. 또한 유아의 발달과 놀이를 존중하여 현장체험학습을 통한 역할놀이를 진로교육 교수학습방법으로 제시함으로써 다양한 진로교육 교수학습방법을 모색할 수 있도록 하였다.
