- Abstract
In this thesis, comparing the melody of Danso with that of fine flute in sangryungsan - an ensemble piece in Hyunakyiungsanhuisang - I classified them as identity, similarity and difference and studied the correlation between them by the result. According to the analysis of them, they had almost same pattern but a little difference.
The result: First, according to the analysis of identity in Sangryungsan, this takes up the majority of part, that is, there were 145 beats (about 43%) in the whole 340 beats. Having been Examined, the survey indicated that there were steady percentage of beats in each movement : first - 35 beats (about 58%) , second - 24 beats (30%) , third - 31 beats (about 39%) and fourth - 55 beats (about46%).
Second, according to the analysis of similarity, this takes up second proportion in Sangryungsan, i.e., there were 105 beats (about 31%) in the whole 340 beats. Having been Examined, the survey indicated that there were steady percentage of beats in each movement : first - 14 beats (about 23%) , second - 28 beats (35%) , third - 30 beats (about 37%) and fourth - 33 beats (about 27%).
Third, according to the analysis of difference, this takes up the lowest proportion in Sangryungsan, i.e., there were 90 beats (about 26%) in the whole 340 beats. Having been Examined, the survey indicated that there were steady percentage of beats in each movement : first - 11 beats (about 18%) , second - 28 beats (35%) , third - 19 beats (about 24%) and fourth - 32 beats (about 27%).
As a result, the percentage of melody is in this order - identity, similarity, and difference. In order words, the type of above three - identity, similarity and difference - the first is positioned the most, this means the melody of fine flute is accompanied with that of Dan-so.
The gap of percentage between similarity and difference is about 4% and this indicates that the main melody is accompanied with the melody of Dan-so. In addition, although the grace note of Dan-so is involved in similarity, there is equality in the percentage between similarity and difference at the second and fourth movement. In this respect, Dan-so has not only the role of grace note but the originality in its melody.
