로맨틱 JEAN 패션디자인 연구

Abstract

현대에 나타난 로맨틱 패션은 사회적 흐름과 패션 트렌드에 따라 많은 영향을 받으면서 여러 가지 유형으로 변화, 혼합되어 표현되고 있으며 과거와는 달리 새로운 개념의 패션으로 표현되는 추세이다. 현대패션에서 연령, 성별, 지위 등을 막론하고 여러 계층에서 사용되고 있는 Jean 패션에서도 이러한 로맨틱 패션 경향은 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 패션은 변화하는 사회에의 움직임을 가장 민감하게 나타내는 문화코드로 Jean 패션의 열풍은 편안하고 기능적인 일상복 뿐 아니라 매력적인 하이패션에서 동시에 성장해 왔으며 Jean 패션의 장식적이면서 여성스러운 로맨틱 스타일은 21세기에 들어오면서 더욱 눈에 띄게 전개되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 로맨틱 패션의 미적 특성을 도입한 Jean패션을 디자인함에 있어서 플라운스, 러플, 올 풀기, 테이핑, 스티치 및 입체 꽃 자수 장식 표현 기법을 활용하여 다양한 Jean 소재를 개발하여 사용하였다. 또한 작품의 실루엣과 디테일을 코르셋의 라인을 응용하여 현대적이며 여성적인 이미지로 표현하였다. 이를 통해 Jean 패션의 표현방법을 확장하고, 개성화와 다양화를 지향하는 디자인을 개발하는 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구의 목적은 새로운 패션의 표현방식과 창작자의 개성을 부각시킬 수 있는 소재를 개발하여 소재표현의 영역을 확대하고 새로운 로맨틱 Jean 패션 디자인의 스타일을 창출하는 데 있다. 연구의 내용과 방법으로는 선행 연구 논문과 문헌 등을 바탕으로 로맨틱 패션의 개념과 특징, 로맨틱 패션의 특성,Jean 패션의 개념과 역사, 종류 및 표현기법을 살펴보았으며 인터넷 사이트, 컬렉션 매거진 등에서 사진 자료를 수집하여 현대 로맨틱 패션 디자인 사례분석, 현대 패션에서 Jean을 이용한 디자인의 다양한 사례들을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 로맨틱 패션을 도입한 Jean의상 8벌을 제작하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 로맨틱 Jean 패션의 이론적 고찰을 통하여 로맨틱 패션디자인에 있어서 다양한 장식기법을 활용한 소재 개발의 중요성을 인식할 수 있었으며 로맨틱 Jean 패션의 섬세한 디테일 표현과 여성적 이미지는 21세기에 들어오면서 더욱 눈에 띄게 전개되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 현대에 나타난 로맨틱 패션의 특성은 장식성과 노출에 의한 관능성으로 나타나는데, 이와 같은 특성들은 Jean의 다양한 표현기법과 복합적으로 작용하여 로맨틱 Jean 패션을 부각시키고 있음을 인식하였다. 둘째, 작품의 소재에 있어서 수공예 적이며 예술적인 Jean소재를 개발하여 사용함으로써 거칠고 열정적인 이미지의 Jean패션을 여성적이고 심미적으로 표현할 수 있었다. 로맨틱 패션의 부드럽고 섬세한 스타일을 부각시키기 위해 Jean과 동일한 컬러로 염색된 실크 쉬폰 소재를 믹스 매치하였으며 입체 꽃 자수, 스티치, 테이핑, 올 풀기 등의 다양한 표현기법으로 풍부한 질감을 표현할 수 있었다. 셋째, 작품의 색채는 엘레강스한 로맨틱 이미지의 Jean 패션을 표현하기 위해 라이트 블루(Light blue), 인디고 블루(Indigo Blue), 그레이(Grey), 블랙(Black)의 네 가지 색을 사용하였다. 풀린 올의 밝은 색채와 스티치의 배색으로 악센트를 주었으며, 화이트(White), 옐로우(Yellow), 레드(Red)의 악센트 컬러로 절개선과 꽃 모티브의 라인을 강조할 수 있었다. 또한 워싱 기법에 의해 라이트 블루, 인디고 블루, 그레이, 블랙의 톤이 밝아져 저 채도의 색채와 한 톤밝은 색채의 조화로 더욱 감미롭고 우아한 색채 이미지를 표현할 수 있었다. 넷째, 작품의 스타일에 있어서 로맨틱 패션의 여성적이며 장식적인 특성을 부각시키고자 플라운스와 프릴, 레이스 업과 후크 앤 아이 등의 장식적인 디테일을 응용함으로써 독특한 스타일의 Jean 패션을 창출할 수 있었다. 또한 코르셋의 절개라인을 도입하여 작품의 스타일을 디자인한 결과 노출에 의한 관능적인 특성이 우아하게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 계기로 Jean에 관한 디자인이 로맨틱 패션에만 국한 될 것이 아니라 다양한 패션 이미지와 소재의 개발을 활용함으로써 새로운 스타일과 디자인의 Jean 연구가 활성화 되고 발전되기를 기대해 본다.;Modern romantic fashions tend to be transformed and mixed into various types in terms of expression under great influences by the social current and fashion trends and be expressed in a new concept contrary to the past. The modern fashion of jean being used in many classes, regardless of age, gender, or rank, also shows such a remarkable trend of the romantic fashion. Fashion is a cultural code most sensitively demonstrating movements in changing society; the jean fashion has grown not only in comfortable and functional everyday clothing but also in attractive high fashion; a decorative and feminine romantic style of the jean fashion has been remarkably developed in the 21st century. In designing the jean fashion by introducing aesthetic properties of the romantic fashion, this study developed and used various kinds of jean using flounce, ruffle, unraveling, taping, stitches, and cubic flower embroidery designs. Silhouettes and details were expressed in a modern and feminine image applying the line of corsets. On this basis, an attempt was made to present a method to expand expressions of the jean fashion and develop designs in pursuit of characterization and diversification. The purpose of this study is to develop materials to emphasize expressions of a new fashion and creators' individuality to expand the area of material expression and create styles for a new romantic jean fashion design. For this purpose, prior literature and researches were reviewed for the concept and features of the romantic fashion, properties of the romantic fashion, and the concept, history, kinds, and expressions of the jean fashion, along with collection of photo data from Internet websites and collection magazines to perform case analysis of the modern romantic fashion design and jean-using designs in the modern fashion. On this basis, eight suites of jean clothes were manufactured by introducing a romantic fashion. This study obtained the following conclusions. First, theoretical consideration of the romantic jean fashion demonstrated that it was development of materials and creation of creative designs which exerted great effects on designs and played a key role in the modern fashion. It is jean which is being used in various classes, regardless of age, gender, or rank, in the modern fashion using various materials; various detail expressions and feminine images of the romantic jean fashion have been developed markedly in this 21st century. The property of the modern romantic fashion is found to be sensuality caused by decorativeness and exposure, which functions in combination with various expressions of jean to make the romantic jean fashion remarkable today. Second, it was possible to develop handcraft-like, artistic jean for a material of a work and give feminine and aesthetic expression of the romantic jean fashion. Silk chiffon dyed in the same color with jean was mixed and matched to emphasize the soft and delicate style of the romantic fashion; it was possible to express an ample sense of quality by various expressions including cubic flower embroideries, stitches, taping, and unraveling. Third, four colors―light blue, indigo blue, grey, and black―were used to express the jean fashion with elegant romantic images. Accent was given by color arrangement with light colors of unraveled strands and stitches; it was possible to emphasize cuts and the lines of flower motives with accentual colors, such as white, yellow, and red. Fourth, it was possible to create a jean fashion in a specific style by introducing cuts of corsets and applying decorative details, such as flounce, frill, lace-up, and hook & eye, in order to emphasize feminine and decorative features of the romantic fashion in the style of works. It is expected that this study will provide opportunities to use development of various fashion images and materials rather than to restrict designs of jean to the romantic fashion in order to activate and develop researches on jean in new styles and designs.
