自田놀이 活動에 관한 分析的 硏究

Abstract

幼稚園의 자유놀이活動은 學習要素가 포함된 여러종류의 충분한 놀이 資料를 提供하여, 幼兒自身이 自發的으로 選擇하여 다양한 놀이를 함으로써 많은 것을 學習하고 成長하게 된다는 것에 基礎를 두고 있다. 따라서 이러한 自發的인 學習을 바람직하게 이루기 위해서는 다양하고 충분한 設備 및 資料의 構成, 空間과 時間의 적절한 使用, 자유스러운 분위기 造成, 모든 活動에서 幼兒들을 돕고 指導하는 敎師의 役割이 要求된다. 本 硏究의 目的은 幼稚園의 놀이活動의 質的 向上을 위한 基礎로서 자유놀이 時間의 배려, 놀이資料 具備程度, 놀이에 대한 敎師의 價値 및 役割 認識에 대한 일반적 傾向을 알아보며 놀이指導에 있어서의 問題點이 무엇인지를 파악하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 文獻硏究와 幼稚園의 놀이장면을 觀察하였고 이를 바탕으로 質問紙를 作成하였다. 質問紙 실시 對象은 無作爲 表集에 의한 서울市內 100個 幼稚園의 敎師로써 應答紙 回收率은 77%였다. 硏究結果에 의하면, 1. 幼稚園의 자유놀이 時間은 1日 授業時間에 관계없이 40~60분(70.2%)을 2回로 나누어(73.0%) 배정하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 이러한 時間量은 계절에 따라서 다소 차이가 있음(39.0%)이 밝혀졌다. 2. 놀이에 대한 敎師들의 價値는 社會的 價値를 가장 重要視하는 傾向이 있다(31.2%). 그다음은 身體的(27.6%), 知的(25.4%)價値이며 情緖的 價値는 소홀히 하는 傾向으로 나타났다.(15.8%) 3. 자유놀이 時間中 대부분의 敎師들은 幼兒들의 問題장면에서는 관심을 나타내고 그 問題解決을 위한 暗示를 주는 傾向이나(64.9%), 그렇지않은 일반적 놀이장면에서는 관심을 나타내거나 적절한 指導를 하지 않고 放任하는 傾向이 높다(52.7%). 4. 幼稚園의 놀이資料 具備程度는 미술資料(40.8%), 리듬악기류(58.7%), 室外의 고정시설(50.7%) 등은 충분하고 도서류(43.5%), □놀이資料(41.9%), 知的發達을 위한 資料(47.1%)는 보통 程度이며, 전혀없거나 부족한 것으로는 모래놀이資料(52.7%), 물놀이資料(65.4), 木工놀이資料(60.0%), 室外의 이동시설(57.3%), 동물사육장(64.7), 과학표본과 기구류(49.3%)이다. 5. 놀이指導에서 問題點은 敎具 및 遊具부족이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다(46.3%). 그다음은 敎師數의 부족과 敎師의 創意的 아이디어 부족으로 各各 36.8%이다. 6. 3個 幼稚園의 事例硏究를 통해서 發見된 것은 놀이資料를 잘 갖춘 幼稚園의 敎師는 幼兒들의 다양한 놀이장면에 관심을 나타내고 幼兒의 놀이에 큰 비중을 두었다. 반면 그렇지 못한 幼稚園의 敎師는 敎師自身이 主體가 되는 活動 즉 피아노를 치면서 幼兒들과 함께 노래를 부르고 책을 읽어주는 일등에 많은 비중을 두었고 活動범위도 단조로왔다. 本 硏究는 幼稚園의 놀이를 통한 정상적인 敎育의 機能을 발휘하기 위해서 결여된 많은 問題點을 示晙해주고 있다.;Free play activities of kindergartens are prepared on the basis that the activities are able to provide opportunities of learning and developments for the infants through playing with various play materials optionally chosen by the young children themselves. The objectives of this study are to find out what the general tendency of time allocations, providing of play materials, teachers' recognitions of roles and values for the free play activities, and what the problems are in guidance of activities, to get necessary informations for the development of kindergartens. Observation and questionaire methods have employed a total of 100 teachers from 100 kindergartens in Seoul area have been selected by means of random sampling, the recovery ratio of the questionaires was 77%. Findings of the researon are as follows : 1. In general, 40-60 minutes a day are alocated for the free play activities, devided into two parts, regardless to the daily lesson period, with some exceptions according to the seasons. 2. The teachers have revealed some tendencies of putting first priority on the social values of the free play activities, next on physical values, on intellectual values, and lastly on emotional values, which can be said neglected. 3. The teachers pay attentions to troubles among infants during the activities to suggest for their solutions, but in other play parts they seldom pay any attantions, nor give any appropriate guidance. 4. Art materials, rhythms materials, outdoor fixed facilities are sufficiently provided, printed materials, dramatic materials and those for intellectual development can be said to be moderately provided, however, sand play materials, water play materials, workbench and hammer play materials, etc. are poorly provided. 5. It is the problems for the teachers' guidance for the activities that learning aids and play materials are pooly provides and the teachers are not sufficient in number and in their ideas and originalities for the program development. 6. The findings from case study in 3 kindgartens indicate that the teachers of the kindergartens with appropriate play materials show deep interests in young children's activities, while those with poor play materials are more interested in teacher-centered activities and their activities are a little monotonous. This study is suggesting a lot of problem-points concerning the free play activities as basic informations for the development of educational functions of the kindergartens.
