신제품개발의 품질보증

Abstract

'90년대의 세계경제환경은 UR체제 정착과 함께 시장개발이 가속화될 것과 EC시장 통합을 계기로 지역경제의 블럭화가 확산될 전망이며 일본경제의 부상, 개도국 경제의 비중 증대 등으로 다극화 현상이 전개될 조짐을 보이고 있다. 더우기 최근에는 국제기술시장에 있어서 각국은 자국의 이익만을 위하여 핵심기술이전을 거부하는 등 기술보호장벽을 높이 쌓고 있어 이른바 기술의 무기화 시대가 전개되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 변화에 대응하여 우리경제의 당면과제인 국제경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 기술혁신을 통한 고품질, 고부가가치성 신제품 개발로 품질경쟁력을 제고시키지 않으면 안된다. 그리고 지금까지 품질관리는 제품화에 성공한 제품을 양산하는 단계에서 품질을 안정화시키는데 역점을 두어 왔다. 그러나 현재는 제품의 라이프 사이클이 단축되어 양산화가 미쳐 닥치기도 전에 경쟁이 끝나는 경우가 많아졌기 때문에 신제품개발에는 품질의 안정화가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 문헌연구를 통하여 기업의 경쟁력 원천인 기술의 경쟁심화와 발달속도가 가속화됨에 따라 제품의 라이프 사이클이 점차 짧아지고, 소비자의 요구도 다양해지는 현재의 경영상황에서는 재발방지를 중점적으로 하는 종래의 '사후의 품질관리'만으로는 한계가 있으므로 다양한 시장의 요구에 적응하여 기업이 갖고 있는 기술을 개발하고 최대한 활용해서 우수한 품질의 제품을 기획, 설계하는 '사전의 품질관리' 즉, 신제품중점의 품질보증을 지향해야 함을 고찰하였다. 이와 병행하여 국내기업의 신제품 품질보증활동현황을 실증분석한 결과, 개발·설계 및 신제품 품질보증활동은 부족한 투자 때문에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있을 뿐만 아니라 이에 못지 않은 관리기술의 낙후성 때문에 어려움이 가중되고 있다. 이러한 품질보증활동의 수준을 향상시키기 위하여 단기간에 효과가 클 것으로 기대되는 품질기능전개시스템과 설계심사의 도입 및 활용을 개선방안으로 제시하였다.;In 1990's, Uruguay Round structure will be fixed and the market development also accelerated in the world economic enviornment and local economy will be diffused with EC integration and the world economy will take a new turn through the age of multipolarized world like rising the Japanese economy and increasing the importance of developing country and so on. Nowadays, in the international technology market, each country turns down transference of core technology by means of technology protection barriar. So called, the age of technology as a weapon is developed. For the making international competitive power strengthen against these changes, it is necessary for us to upgrade quality competitive power which can be led to develop high-quality and value-added new product according to technological innovation. Product life cycle becomes shorter as the deepening of technology competition that is the source of the competitive power of the company is accelerated. Consumers' needs are also various. So 'ex post quality control' which emphasizes to prevent defects recurrence will be switched to 'prior quality control' which makes various demand of market satisfy and products of good quality plan and design in the use of technology which companies have. Namely, new product oriented quality control which this thesis studied should be headed for. Also concurrently this thesis analysized the empirical test of activities of quality assurance of domestic companies to the new product. Development/design and quality assurance of new product have a lot of problems not only owing to lacking the investment but also falling behind managerial technology. To solve this problems and improve the level of quality control, quality evolution system and design review which will be effective in short terms should be introduced and made practical application of.
