L. V. Beethoven Violin Sonata No.5 in F Major, Op.24의 분석 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 루트비히 반 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770∼1827)의 「Violin Sonata No. 5, op. 24 ; 일명, "Spring Sonata"」에 관한 악곡 구조의 분석 연구를 통해, 그가 고전시대(Classical Period)의 마지막 작곡가이자 동시에 낭만시대(Romantic Period)의 선구자였음을 고찰하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해서는, 일차적으로 그가 보여준 작품세계를 세 단계의 시기로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 즉, 제 1기를 모방의 시기로 보았고, 제 2기를 자신만의 작품세계를 구체화시키는 시기로 보았으며, 마지막으로 제 3기 는 성숙 및 성찰의 시기로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 베토벤이 자신만의 강한 신념을 갖고 완전한 음악 창작에의 열정을 보여준 제 2기의 작품에 그 초점을 맞추었다. 또한, 본 논문은 베토벤의 작품 (Violin Sonata No. 5, op. 24) 이 지닌 악곡 구조를 집중적으로 분석함으로써, 그 작품 자체의 구조적 특징 및 베토벤 특유의 창의성을 밝히고자 했으며, 이와 더불어 그가 고전시대를 마감하고 새로운 낭만시대의 시작을 연 작곡가였음을 재 고찰하고자 했다. 특히, 작품의 구조적 원리를 밝히는데 있어서는 무엇보다도 각 악자의 주제와 형식상의 구조, 조성 및 화성의 분석에 집중하였다. 그리고, 이러한 연구과정을 통해서 다음과 같은 결론을 도출해냈다. 첫째, 베토벤은 명확한 대조를 이루는 주제를 갖고 소나타 형식을 구성하여, 대립적인 요소들을 하나로 융합시킴으로써 새로운 악곡의 구조를 구축하였다. 둘째, 이러한 과정 속에서 기존에는 제 1주제에 비해 약세이던 제 2주제를 강화 보완하여, 두 개의 주제에 균등한 힘을 안배시켰다. 특히, 제 2주제를 중심으로 발전부를 구성한 점은 베토벤만의 독특하고 창의적인 역량을 보여주는 점이라고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 기존에는 경과구 정도로만 처리하던 발전부를 조직적 발전을 통해 확대시킴으로써, 악곡 형식을 한단계 더 발전시켰다. 마지막으로, 소나타 형식에 있어 자유롭고 서정적이면서도 그 전반적 흐름에 있어서는 통일성과 조화를 유지할 수 있는 형식을 구축했다. 즉, 형식과 그 형식을 통한 음악적 효과가 양자간에 균형을 이루었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 하여, 베토벤의 작품세계 전반에 있어 그 중심을 이루는 주요 경향 및 특징을 좀더 구체적이고 체계적으로 연구, 밝히는 것이 본 논문의 앞으로의 과제라 할 수 있겠다.;A study on the elements of performing for Ludwig van Beethoven's violin sonata in F major "Spring" op. 24. Beethoven's Sonata "Spring" is a work composed during his creating period to represent his own individual music. In the third movement, scherzo form is enlarged and organized. It brings about the growth in structure which can not be seen in the former violin sonatas. There is also a moaning in the respect that sonata form in earlier times is concreted, and his romantic elements are completely represented in this work from the artistic and skillful views. The results of the study on the formal structure, the musical characteristics in "Spring", and the combination of these elements to formulate an unit of structure in rhythm are summarized as follows. 1) The unification of musical composition 2) Formula characteristics 3) Special quality In expression 4) The characteristics of rhythmical structure All these results in Beethoven's sonata "Spring" is evaluated as an immortal masterpiece transcending the times which represents the potential elasticity of Beethoven's own with the culmination of words to become the symbol of the origin for the Romanticism, and it can not be excluded in the violin musics.
