A. Scriabin의 Piano Sonata No. 9, Op. 68에 관한 소고

Abstract

러시아의 작곡가 알렉산더 스크리아빈 (Alexande Scriabin : 1872∼1915)은 일종의 종교철학인 신비주의 (Mysticism)에 심취되어 신비로움을 음악으로 표현하고자 했다. 즉 지금까지의 기능화성과는 다른 신비화음(Mystic chord)이라 불리는 4도 중첩의 독특한 화성체제를 사용하고 새로운 음향과 음색적인면에 깊은 관심을 나타내어 그만의 독자적인 작품세계를 구축했다. 스크리아빈은 주로 피아노를 통해서 그의 음악적 사상을 펼쳐나갔고 특히 10개의 피아노 소나타 작품은 그의 음악적 특징이 잘 나타나 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스크리아빈의 음악에 있어서 후기작품에 속하는 피아노 「소나타 제9번」을 연구분석하여 그의 특징적인 작곡 기법을 알아보려고 한다. 이 연구를 위해 첫째, 그의 생애와 전체적인 작품세계를 고찰함으로서 그의 음악적인 사상과 작곡기법을 알아보고 둘째, 10개의 피아노 소나타를 그의 음악적 발달사와 함께 살펴본 후 「소나타 제9번」을 분석하였다. 그 결과 이 작품은 전통적인 소나타 형식에서 벗어난 단악장의 자유로운 소나타 형식을 취하며 4개의 동기적 요소가 반복되고 변형 발전되는 구성을 보이고 있다. 조성은 무조성을 나타내며 3도구 성화음에서 유출된 4도의 형태를 표현하고 있는 것이 그의 특징이다. 「소나타 제9번」은 짧고 간결하며 스크리아빈 특유의 정묘한 분위기와 리듬이 아주 빈틈없이 나타나 있는 작품이라 할 수 있다.;Russian composer Alexander Scriabin (1872-1915) was fascinated with a kind of religious philosophical mysticism and he tried to represent such a mysticism into music. Namely, by using double fourth harmony that is so called mystic chord, which is different from the functional harmony hitherto had been used, and by concentrating on a new sound and timbre, he constructed his own unique musical world. Scriabin's musical idea is expressed mainly through piano, and in particular, ten piano sonatas among his works represent his musical character very well. Therefore, in this thesis, I'd like to research Scriabin's composing technique by analyzing the 9th piano sonata which belongs to his latter period. For this purpose, at first I have considered Scriabin's life and his whole works to appreciate his musical idea and composing techique, and secondly I have analyzed the 9th piano sonata after I had investigated ten piano sonatas along with has musical development. In consequence, this work assumes a free one movement sonata form freed from the traditional sonata form, and four motivational elements in this work are organically repeated, transformed and developed. It's, characteristic is like this it shows an atonality and expresses the fourth produced from chords by thirds. The 9th piano sonata is a short and brief work which can be called as a work that reveals very closely Scriabin's exquisite atmosphere (mood) and rhythm that is peculiarly his own.
