한희정의 가곡 <Psalm 5 for Soprano, Flute & Piano> (2000) 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사학위 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 작품 중 하나인 "Psalm 5 for Soprano, Flute & Piano(2000)"를 분석한 것이다. 19세기 말부터 시작된 조성음악의 붕괴는 Arnold Schoenberg(1874-1951)를 중심으로 한 제 2 비엔나 학파(The Second Viennese School)에 의해 1908년에서 1923년 사이에 무조적 작품(atonal work)이 쓰여지면서 조성음악의 탈피로 이어지게 된다. 가곡 "Psalms for Soprano, Flute & Piano(2000)"는 이러한 무조적 개념을 기초로 한 작품으로 구약 성경 시편 5장 1절~8절을 가지고 쓸 작품이다. 이 곡은 A B A'의 3 Section으로 구성되어 있으며 각 Section별로 G음을 중심으로 변화하는 음군을 볼 수 있다. 전체적으로 도입부와 Section A에서 제시된 선율의 요소들이 반복해서 나타나고 있다. Section A와 Section A'은 지속음이 특징적으로 나타나며 Section A에 사용된 음의 재료들은 수평적, 수직적으로 사용된다. Section B는 빠른 템포로 보다 리듬적인 특징을 보여주고 있다.;This Thesis contains an analysis of the musical form and style of the song <Psalm 5 for Soprano, Flute & Piano>(2000) that was presented at the recital on May, 15th, 2001. Arnold Schoenberg and his school made an attempt to move away from tonal music by composing several atonal works between 1908 and 1923. Since the end of the 19th century tonal music has gradually collapsed and same attempts have been made to develop a new musical style. The Song "Psalm 5 for Soprano, Flute & Piano (2000)" is written based on the concept of atonality from Psalm chapter 5, verses 1 through 8 in the old testament. This song consists of 3 section, A B A'. Each section shows changes led by the G note. Generally, this song presents the elements of melody shown in the introduction & section A. Section A & A' have a distinction with pedal point. Meterials of the notes in the section A are used by horizontally and vertically. Section B has a rhythmical feature with fast tempo.
