낙서(GRAFFITI)를 이용한 표현연구

Abstract

문자 발명이전인 선사 시대부터 낙서는 인간의 감정 표현 수단으로 또는 의사 소통으로서, 주술적 의식의 표출로서 표현되어졌다. 현대에 들에 낙서는 세기를 뛰어넘어 선사시대의 유산인 이러한 특성을 그대로 가지고 있다. 기호와 사인, 휘갈김은 걸림없는 감정의 표출과 원시적 영역표시의 발현이고 어떤 면에서는 주술적이기 까지하다. 이러한 무의식적이고 원형적인 표현은 초현실주의에서도 볼 수 있다. 이렇게 볼 때 낙서는 인간 감성의 자연스러운 표출구로서 인류사와 함께 이어져 오면서 지금까지는 심리적 해소의 유희 개념으로 이해되어졌다. 낙서의 특징은 첫째, 예술의 순수성과 사회적 소통으로서 낙서화는 우리 삶과 밀접한 주제와 형상을 담고 있다. 우리에게는 항상 그 시대와 사회의 삶을 그대로 표현하려는 예술에 대한 욕구가 있으며, 그시대 정신의 자연스러운 표출을 찾아 볼 수 있다. 두번째, 낙서는 행위자의 기질과 성향을 나타낸다. 또한 누구나 낙서를 통한 심리적 배설을 하므로 행위자의 주관이 감상자에게 객관화 할 수 있다. 즉, 객관과 주관의 상호 교환이 가능하다. 세번째, 낙서는 유희적으로 기능한다. 그래서 심리적 배설이 가능한 것이다. 네번째는 낙서는 체험으로서 경험의 해소이다. 이것은 인간의 삶이 가지고 있는 본능적, 공격적, 충동적, 비합리적인 요소들을 배출하는 것이다. 다섯번째 낙서는 보편성을 가지고 있다. 인간의 기본 심리적 구조, 사회 공통의 가치, 기호체계의 종합적인 특성의 삼각 구도를 가지고 있는 것이다. 여섯번째 낙서는 비선형적인 구조를 가지고 있다. 그러한 이유로 형식의 탈피, 논리의 배제가 가능한 작업이다. 이러한 낙서가 사조로서 한 장르가 될수 있었던 것은 포스트모더니즘현상과 그에 따른 문화의 변화와 이미지를 전달하는 매체, 시간성의 인식에 있어서의 변화가 주요한 작용을 한 것이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 그 배경이 되는 이론연구와 작품제작을 함으로서 낙서가 가지고 있는 표현의 잠재된 가능성을 자각시켜 줌으로서 새로운 시각 표현의 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다.;Since the prehistoric age, graffiting has been exprssed as a way of exprssing human emotion and communication, and the presentation oh enchanting rituals. Even in the modern age, graffiting still has its original characteristic from the remains of the prehistoric age. Symbols, signs, and graffiting are the expression of direct emotion and the revelation of primitive area marking, and enchanting in some way. This ritual and protorpical expression is found in Surrealism. In this sense, graffiting is a natural expression way of human sensitivity, and has been understood as the concept of a play of psychological solution passed down with the history of human beings. The Characteristic of graffiting is first, the Pureness of art and social Communication, and the painting of graffiting contains the Subject and image closely related to our life. We always have desire for art to exactly express our time and life of society, and can find the naural expression of the ideology of the age. Second, graffiting shows the temper and character of the person who graffity. Also, everyone does pychological evacuation through graffiting, SO the subjectiveness of a performer can objctify appreciators. That is, the exchange of subjectiveness and odjectiveness is possible. Third, graffiting functions playfully. Therefore, it makes possible to do psychological evacuation. Fourth, the experience of graffitimg solves the experience. This is the evacuation of the innate, agressive, implusive, and irrational elements of human life. Fifth, graffiting has universality. It has the triangular composition of human basic psychological structure, societal common value and the general characterstic of sign system. Sixth, graffiting has unfixed structure. For that reason, it is work that can escape form and exclude logic. The reason why graffiting could be a genre of the trend of thought is that it acts as a medium of delivering postmdernism and cultural change and image following it, and the change of the recognition of time. Accordingly, I tried to suggest the possibility of a new visual expression by awakening the potential of graffiting expression through theoretical study and work prduction.
