중고교생들의 진로결정에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 기초연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는, 학생들의 진로결정에 영향을 주는 여러 요인들을 분석하기 위하여 3개 학년(중1, 중3, 고2 ), 525명을 대상으로 이미 선정된 진로결정 요인 36개와 진로결정에 영향을 주는 인물 10인, 그리고 진로 결정에 앞서 학생들에게 예상되는 행동들을 조사하였다. 그 결과 각 요인들에 대한 중요도 및 영향정도는 본인의 가족내에서의 서열이라든가, 가정의 경제적 수준 혹은 현재 그가 장래 진로계획을 설정하였는가의 여부와는 관계없이, 주로 그가 몇 학년이며, 남자인가 여자인가에 따라, 그리고 인문계인가 상업계인가에 따라 반응상 의미있는 차이를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 그들이 각 요인들에 대하여 반응하는 것은 실제로 현재 그들이 어떤 상황에 놓여 있는가에 의해 크게 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모는 전반적으로 가장 영향을 크게 미치는 인물로 나타났으며, 진로 결정에 앞서 의논의 상대로서 우선적으로 지적되었다. 그러나 이러한 영향력 있는 인물에 대한 반응에서도 계열에 따라 큰 차이를 보인다. 즉, 상업계 학생의 경우는 부모보다도 담임 선생님이 더 영향을 많이 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로 결정에 앞서 예상되는 행동 분석에서는 고 학년일수록 자기의 적성 및 흥미를 고려한다거나 자료를 찾아보는 등의 적극적인 반응을 보여 주었다.;In this paper, the analysis of various factors involved in the career decision-making of students were made. Total 525 students from 3 different grades (Freshman, Senior of Junior high school, and Junior of Senior high school) were questioned on the pre-selected 36 factors of the career decision-making the 10 most persons who influence on the career decision-making, and the expected behavior of the students before the decision is made. Through this analysis, I found that the importance and influential depth of each factors were dependant on sex, type of school, and the Grades of students while family structure, economical status and existence of future occupational goal (or plan) do not affect noticeably. Over the 3 Grades, it was confirmed that their parent opinion was the most influential. However as the opportunities of career decision-making are getting closer, students have more concern on their aptitude, talent and information of the fields they are interested.
