'봄'의 音樂 構造에 관한 考察

Abstract

본 연구는 1967년 황병기 작곡인 「봄」의 음악 구조를 분석 고찰하고 그 음악적 특징과 기법을 밝히고자 함을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 방법은 「봄」의 전체적인 형식 및 음계에 대하여 개관하고 각 악장별로 형식, 리듬, 선율의 형태 및 구조 등을 고찰하였다. 제 1 악장의 형식은 A - B - C - B -D 의 다섯 부분으로 나누었으며, 제 2 악장과 제 3 악장은 박자의 변화와 흐름에 따라 A - B - C 의 세 부분으로 나누어졌다. 제 1 악장(Comodo)은 63 마디로 이루어졌으며 편안한 느낌을 주면서 경쾌하고 흥겹게 흐르는 선율이 봄을 느끼게 하고 있으며 각 소절간의 음악적인 대조와 발전이 특징적이다. A 부분(1∼4 마디)은 이 곡의 도입부로 본 곡의 주선율이 되는 중(G)으로 시작된다 B 부분(5∼22 마디)은 전 곡의 중심부 역할을 하고 있다. C 부분(23∼37 마디)은 처음 중심부(B)와 재현되는 중심부(B)를 연결시켜 주는 교량 역할을 하는 부분으로서 Hemiola의 리듬 형태와 꾸밈음과 저음을 많이 사용하고 있다. D 부분(56∼63 마디)은 제 1 악장을 종결하는 종결 부분으로서 A, B, C 부분에 나타나는 대표적인 리듬 및 선율을 사용하면서 곡을 끝내는 부분이다. 제 1 악장은 黃(72회), 仲(51회)이 가장 많이 나타나며 黃으로 종지 되는 Sol 선법으로 그 특징은 ㆍ 전통 음악인 타령 장단에 바탕을 두고 있다. ㆍ Hemiola와 Syncopation을 사용함으로써 경쾌하면서도 긴장감을 준다. ㆍ 선율의 진행방향은 모든 음정의 상하행이 고르게 나타나고 있다. 제 2 악장(Calmando)은 17 마디로 이루어진 A - B - C 의 세도막 형식이며 중(G)을 지속저음으로하여 윗 선율이 넘실대는 물결처럼 잔잔히 흐르는 곡으로 그 특징은 ㆍ 黃(26회), 仲(22회)이 가장 많이 나타나는 Sol 선법이다. ㆍ 리듬 형태는 종지음을 빼고는 모두 □ 의 리듬 형태로 단순하며 4/4 박자와 3/4박자를 번갈아 사용하고 있다. ㆍ 선율진행 방향을 보면 완전 4도의 상?하행 진행이 가장 많으며 지속저음인 중(G)이 계속 진행되다가 종지부에서는 선율음과 일치하여 종지음이 된다. 제 3 악장(Amabile)은 20 마디로 이루어졌으며 4/4박자와 5/4박자가 번갈아 진행하는 곡으로 그 특징은 ㆍ 黃(26회), 太(14회)가 가장 많이 나타나며 다른 악장에 비해 太가 많이 나타나는 Sol 선법이다. ㆍ 박자가 변화되면서 선율과 리듬의 대비가 되어 긴장감을 갖게 하면서도 장 2도, 단 3도의 선율진행이 많아 부드럽고 사랑스런 느낌을 느끼게 한다. 이와 같이 「봄」은 Sol 선법으로 5음 음계에 의한 전통적인 기법을 바탕으로 작곡되었으며 국악 본질의 맛과 특징을 갖춘 곡이라 하겠다.;The aim of this study is to analyze and observe the musical structure of 'Bom' (spring) and by observing the musical characteristics to point out the technique of composing the traditional Kookag. The method of studying was to survey the forms , rhythms , and melodies . The 1st movement is divided into the five of A-B-C-B-D and the 2nd and 3rd movement are the unique musical pieces but divided and analyzed into three parts of A-B-C. The 1st movement (comodo) is characterized by the formation of 63 phrases and the contrasts and developments of music between bars , which allows us to feel the comfort and pleasant of 'Born'. The part A (1-4 bars) is the introduction of this melody , which is the theme and motivation which begins with 'Choong' , the main melody of this song. The part B is developed by the introduction part A , which take the major role in all of this song. The part C (23-37 bars) is to take a major role of connecting the 1st main melody and the 2nd main melody, which uses many types of rhythms and decorations and lower scales in Hemiola.. The part D (56∼63 bars) is the last melody of the 1st movement which is ended with the representative rhythms and melodies in the part C. The 1st movement shows the most Hwang(72) and Choong(51) which is Sol finished with Hwang. The characteristics are: 0 It relies upon the beats of tune, that is, our traditional melody. 0 The direction of the melody has its upper and lower lines in its melody. The 2nd movement (calmando), composed of 17 bars, has three bars (A-B-C) and runs like waves in a quiet lake with the continuous bass of Choong. The characteristics are: 0 It is the type of Sol which has the most Choong(22). 0 The forms of rhythms are the ones of ♬with exception of the cessation tunes, which takes tunes in using 3/4 beats and 4/4 beats. 0 The third movement (Amabile) is made up of 20 bars, and takes turns the 4/9 beats and 5/4 beats. The characteristics are: 0 It has shown the most 「Whang」(26) and Tae(l4) and compared with the other movements. it has the most Tae. 0 As the beats change, the melodies and rhythms contrast with tension, but give the feeling of softness and loveliness with the continuing the melodies of Jang 3 do, Dan 3 do. Bom is the traditional technique of 5 scales, which is the Sol, and the music which has the taste and quality of the essence in Kookag.
