액션(action)과 스톱(stop)의 시각적 표현연구

Abstract

일러스트레이션이란 자기자신을 표현하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 좀 더 확실히 말하자면 그림은 자기자신의 모습의 재현인 것이다. 작품에는 자기자신의 사상이나 생각이 들어있게 된다. 이러한 사상이 결여된 그림은 단지 습작에 지나지 않게 되는 것이다. 작품에서 작가가 표현하고자 추구하는 것은 형이상학적 개념을 궁극적인 목표로 삼아야한다. 자신이 목표로 하고 표현하고자하는 개념을 정확하게 다른사람에게 전달하는 일은 결코 쉬운 일이 아니다. 그러므로 작가는 자신의 개념과 주장을 많은 사람들에게 조금 더 가까이 전달하기 위해 노력한다. 본 연구에서는 현대사회에 있어서의 인간이 가지고 있는 복제(複製)감각에 대한 개념을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 또한, 그림을 그리는 작가의 액션(action)과 스톱(stop)을 통해서 고정된 형태에서 탈피하여 감각적인 형태를 추구하고 표현하였다. 본 논문의 구성으로 Ⅱ장에서는 현대 사회에서의 긍정적, 부정적인 복제성에 대한 개념에 대해서 고찰하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 액션과 스톱의 개념정의로 표현예술에서의 애매성의 가치를 살펴보고 액션과 스톱의 개념을 정의하고 고찰하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 위의 개념정의에 의한 표현과정으로서 현대인의 사고와 감각을 표현하기 위해 작품을 제작하고 그 작품에 대한 분석을 하였다. 제작과정은 빠른 액션을 통해 감각적인 형태를 얻어내고 그 액션을 전사(transferring)과정을 통해서 화석화시켰다. 이렇게해서 얻어진 작품의 원본을 원색분해하여 오프셋 인쇄를 함으로써 다량복제하여 작품을 완성시켰다. 본 연구를 통해서 복제시대에 살고 있는 현대인의 감각과 표현을 알게 되었고 복제시대의 작품에 대한 재해석 및 재평가를 할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 사상과 개념을 작품에 투영하고자 하는 노력의 기회가 되었고 이 연구를 통해서 형이상학적 개념을 통한 작풍제작의 필요성 및 당위성을 알게 되었다. 이러한 시도는 시각표현의 제안이고 형이하학적인요소를 형이상학적인 요소로 끌어올리는 하나의 시도라고 생각한다.;Illustration means to express self. More precisely speaking, artists make his own look to reappear through painting. Therefore, in his work pieces do his own idea or through exist. If such an idea or thought is absent in the work, it will be only an etude. What an artist pursues to depict through his or her work - the metaphysical notion - should be taken as his or her ultimate target. It is not that easy to deliver or transfer a notion which the artist takes as his or her target and wants to express to other people. In fact, artists give much effort to delivering their notion or assertion to other people more closely. In the study, the notion of reproductive sense that mankind in modem society possesses has been studied, Also in the study. the sensuous form was pursued and expressed, breaking from the fixed form through the artist's action and stop. Some brief contents of each chapter of this study are as follows: In Chapter Ⅱ, The optimistic and pessimistic notion of reproductive nature in modern society were reviewed and studied. In Chapter Ⅲ, the expression of obscurity through action as the definition of concept of 'action and stop' was studied and fossilizing process of action or movement was reviewed. In Chapter Ⅳ, in order to express the thought and sense of modern people as the expressional process by the defined concept of 'action and stop' defined in Chapter Ⅲ, some works were produced, and then they were analytically studied. In the process of the work, a sensuous form was obtained through rapid action, and the action was fossilized through the transferring process. The original forms obtained on the process were analyzed in terms of original colors and were processed with offset printing, thereby completing several works through reprinting. Though this study, the expressional sense of modern people who are living in the era of reproduction could be understood, and re-interpretation and reevaluation on the works of the era of reproduction could be materialized. This study has been an opportunity to give effort to reflecting the idea and concept to the work, and through this study, the necessity and adequacy to produce works through the metaphysical concept could be understood. Such kind of trial is a suggestion of visual expression, and a trial to materialize physical elements into metaphysical elements.
