Abstract
The score of "Yeominrakman" is shown first in "Sejongsilrok" Vol. 140 edited in the 15th century, and it is recorded intact in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 4. Later, "Yeominrakman" would be featured in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 6 and "Hyunhaeng" "Yeominrakman", but here, its forms are different from the original. The purpose of this study was to comparatively analyze the scores of "Yeominrakman" shown in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 4 and Vol. 6 and "Daegumjeongak" (Hyunhaeng "Yeominrakman") and thereby, reviewed the changes of "Yeominrakman" by period. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, the score of "Yeominrakman" shown in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 4 is a kind of stereotyped beat score consisting of a total of 10 chapters, each of which consists of 16 lines. Each line comprises 16 Jeonggans. This score is identical to the score shown first in "Sejongsilrok" Vol 140 in view of occurring notes and sitga, while being different from the latter only in terms of number of Jeonggans in total and per line. The score of "Yeominrakman" shown in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 6 keeps only the first 5 chapters, each of which consists of 3 lines. The first line has 16 Jeonggans, but ignores the length of the existing notes. Namely, a note consists of a single or two beats and therefore, this score is sort of unstereotyped beat score. Hyunhaeng "Yeominrakman" consists of a total of 10 chapters, while each line consists of 20 Jeonggans. Second, in view of the length of occurring notes, the length of note in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 4 is 16-8-5-3 beats, those in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 6 and Hyunhaeng are both 2-1 beats. Namely, the length of notes changed much between Vol. 4 and Vol. 6, but did not change much in Hyunhaeng with only intermediate notes added to maintain the basic form of Vol. 6 score. Third, as a result of comparing the melodies among scores, those shown in "Sogakwonbo" Vol. 4 and Vol. 6 have the same occurring notes, but Hyunhaeng score shows new notes added up. These new notes may be intermediate notes between notes, and there are 5 kinds of such notes, while their occurring forms are 6-fold. They occur 13 times in total. On the other hand, Hyunhaeng score shows some decorative notes not existing in those scores of Vol. 4 and Vol. 6, and thus, the 'one sound one beat' form of "Yeominrakman" is not shown. Namely, the notes of "Yeominrakman" did not change in Vol. 4 and Vol. 6, but changed in Hyunhaeng. Fourth, the 5 intermediate notes shown in Hyunhaeng are 'jung', 'lim', 'nam', 'hwang' and 'tae', and their occurring types are 6-fold, while the occurring frequency is 13: 'chung' between 'tae' and 'tae' (once), 'lim' between 'jung' and 'lime' (3 times), 'name' between 'jung' and 'jung' (4 times), 'hwang' between 'nam' and 'nam' or between 'lim' and 'lim' (3 times or once) and 'tae' between 'hwang' and 'hwang' (once). As examined above, the reason why the scores of "Yeominrakman" differ by period was that beats changed between Vol. 4 and Vol. 6 with the intermediate notes added in Hyunhaeng. After all, this study confirmed that the basic structures of three scores originated from 'Sejongsilrok" Vol. 140.;「여민락만(與民樂慢)」은 15세기 『세종실록(世宗實錄), 권140』에 그 악보가 최초로 전하고, 이것이 『속악원보, 권4』에 그대로 수록되어 있다.
