J.S. Bach-F. Busoni의 Chaconne in D Minor에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회의 곡목 중 J. S. Bach(1685~1750) - F. Busoni(1866~1924)의 Chaconne D단조를 분석·연구한 것이다. F. Busoni는 이태리태생으로 19세기 말에서 20세기초에 독일에서 활동한 대표적 신고전주의의 작곡가로 과거의 대작곡가들의 작품들을 주 소재로 하여 악기의 표현 가능성을 확대시키는 수법을 즐겨 사용하였는데 그 중에서 Bach의 작품을 원곡으로 한 편곡에서 그의 작곡가적 역량을 널리 인정받고 있다. Busoni의 피아노곡 Chaconne D단조는 J. S. Bach의 독주 바이올린을 위한 파르티타 제2번 중 5악장 Chaconne를 편곡한 것으로 주제와 32개의 변주, 그리고 코다로 구성되어 있으며 조성에 의해 크게 3부분(d minor → D Major → d minor)으로 구분되어 진다. Busoni는 Bach의 원곡을 편곡함에 있어 원곡의 개념을 손상시키지 않으면서 주제의 화성진행을 기본으로 하여 보다 넓은 음역, 충실한 음향의 화음, 폭넓은 선율음정의 도약, 아르페지오(Arpeggio), pedal - point, 그리고 속도(Tempo)변화와 상세한 악상기호 등을 사용하여 피아노라는 악기가 지닌 다양한 음악표현의 가능성을 충분히 발휘할 수 있도록 하였다.;This thesis is written to analyze and study J. S. Bach-F. Busoni's Chaconne in D Minor, which is the work among the repertoire performed in graduation concert for the completion of the master's course of author. F. Busoni is a representative Neo-classicism composer who was born in Italy and worked in Germany from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. He joyfully used techniques to enlarge the possibility of the instrumental representation with old master's works and his ability as a composer was widely recognized owing to the arrangement of Bach's original works among them. Chaconne in D Minor, one of his piano pieces, is an arrangement of 5th movement chaconne of J.S.Bach's partita No. 2 for solo violin. It is composed of theme, 32 variations and coda divided into thee parts(d minor → D Major → d minor) by tonality. Busoni could make the various possibility of musical expression with piano by using very wide range, full harmony, large leap, arpeggio, pedal point, variating tempo and detailed direction of musical symbol, while didn't damage the conception of original piece of J.S. Bach.
