테마파크 내 공간특성 별 가이드로봇 디자인 지침에 관한 연구

Abstract

과거 우리의 상상 속에서만 꿈꾸어 오던 로봇은 오늘날 세계 각국의 차세대 선진 산업으로 자리잡아 가고 있다. 로봇 기술의 최강자인 일본과 미국은 각기 제 나라 특성에 맞추어 휴머니즘과 감성공학 위주로 분야를 넓혀 갔으며 현재 우리나라에서도 산업용 로봇생산에서 세계 6위, 로봇 보유대수에서 세계 5위로 자리매김 하고 있다. 사회는 피곤에 지친 현대인들을 위해 좀 더 편하고 풍요로운 삶을 영위 시켜주기 위해 로봇을 서비스 산업에까지 진출시켰으며 그 결과 기대 이상의 좋은 반응과 효과를 얻게 되었다. 본 연구는 현대인들의 놀이문화 속에서 함께 정착되어지고 있는 로봇의 영역을 확대하여 테마파크 내 설치 될 가이드 로봇 제시에 따른 기본 사항들을 연구하여 새로운 형태의 놀이공간을 형성하는데 그 의의를 두고 있다. 테마파크와 로봇의 기본 배경지식을 인지하고 다양한 집단의 패널들에게 설문조사와 인터뷰를 통하여 가이드 로봇에 대한 기본 사양과 디자인 선호도 등 사용자 니즈를 분석하여 관람객이 원하는 디자인과 요구사항이 무엇인지를 파악한다. 또한 공간 특성별 가이드 로봇의 필요성을 인식하고 관람객의 욕구를 충족 시켜 줄 수 있는 가이드 로봇 디자인을 제시를 위해 구체적인 지침사항을 연구하여 새로운 형태의 테마파크를 조성해 본다. 위와 같은 연구 조사 결과를 토대로 로봇에 대한 새로운 디자인 제안을 하는 것은 훗날 인간의 풍요로운 생활에 주요 지침이 될 것이다.;Nowdays, Robots are very effective and useful machines that alternate human labor and are applied in various kinds of work places and business for our well being. Robot technology is the key to our future advanced business and industry and many countries are in a big interest to develop this robot technology. The early use of robots was to produce machineries in factories, but now the abilities of robots are extended to be used not only in factories but in medical industry, education, culture and entertainment Robots are now applied in service business to make things more efficient and to improve our living style. These days, the robot business is trying to apply the robot technology in various entertainment areas where people can easily use and experience the robot technology. Theme park, one of the most entertaining places is where people can get rid of stress from work and is very famous. When robots are applied in theme parks, people are provided with more new things to see and to experience and robots ability to alternate human labor can be maximized. This approach can develop the relationship between corporation and the customers and it can create a sensation in our entertainment culture. This study (project) is focused on a guide robot that will be placed in theme park, and is also focused on its basic material and how it’s going to create a better entertainment zone. The study provides basic information on theme park and robot, and through out a survey, it reveals opinions and thoughts of different groups of people on the subject of design and basic materials of the guide robot. Furthermore, the study suggests what kind of robot and its design is needed in different areas of the theme park in order to satisfy the visitors and others, and overally suggests a whole new type of theme park. A new design approach based on this study will be the key to a better life style in the near future.
