J. S. Bach, F. Devienne, F. Poulenc, F. Borne의 Flute작품에 대한 소고

Abstract

고고학이나 민족학자들의 연구로 부터 아주 원시적인 형태의 flute가 유사이전 세계의 원시민족사이에 존재하고 애호되어왔으며, 그로부터 상당히 진보된 flute의 형태가 고대 이집트와 고대그리스의 유적 등으로 부터 나타나고 있다. 본 논문은 flute의 역사와 졸업연주 프로그램인 J. S. Bach의 sonata BWV 1034 E minor, F. Devienne의 Sonata in F Major, F. poulenc sonata for Flute and Piano, F. Borne Carmen-Fantasie fu¨r Flo¨te und Klavier를 중심으로 살펴보았는데, 이러한 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. J.S.Bach의 Sonata BWV 1034 E minor는 4악장으로 되어 있다. 느리게-빠르게-느리게 -빠르게라는 전통적인 교회소나타(sonata da chiesa)의 양식에 의한 곡으로 각 악장은 서로 다른 동기나 주제를 발전시키고 있으며 Continuo성부도 중요한 역활을 담당하고 있다. 전체적으로 선율적이기 보다는 화성중심의 곡이다. F. Devienne의 Sonata in F Major는 전통적 형식에 의한 곡으로, 3악장 형식으로 되어 있다. 2개의 주제를 갖는 1악장과 A B A'의 간단한 구조를 갖는 2악장, 빠른 tempo의 Rondo형식을 갖는 3악장으로 구성되어 있는 작품이다. F.Poulenc의 Sonata for flute and piano는 3악장으로 되어 있다. 1악장은 빠른 음악을 비애적으로 표현하였고, 2악장은 아름다운 cantilena로 되어 있으며 주제를 반복하여 사용하고 있다. 3악장은 앞의 두 악장의 분위기와는 달리 flute와 Piano 가 서로 주고 받으며 후반부에서 1악장의 주제를 도입하여 우수에 찬 분위기를 띄우다가 밝고 활기찬 끝맺음을 하고 있다. F. Borne의 Carmen-Fantasie fu¨r Flo¨te und Klavier는 G. Bizet의 Opera Carmen에서 주제를 따와 기교적으로 편곡한 작품으로 Carmen중에서 널리 알려진 하바네라, 짚시의 노래, 투우사의 노래가 변주곡 형식으로 차례로 등장하여 화려한 분위기 속에서 친근감을 느낄 수 있는 곡이다.;Archaeological and ethnological studies have revealed that flutes of the primitive type existed and were preferred by primitive races in the world as early as the prehistorical age, and other types of flutes developed considerably from that time on are being excavated from relies of ancient Egypt and Greece. In the study inquiries were made into the history of flute and the compositions included in the performance for graduation program - J.S. Bach's Sonata BWV 1034 E Minor, F. Devienn's Sonata in F Major, F. Poulenc's Sonata for Flute and Piano, and F. Borne's Carmen-Fantasie fu˝r Flo˝te und klavier. The results of this study are as follows: J.S. Bachts BWV 1034 E Minor consists of four movements. It is based on the traditional church sonata (sonata da chiesa) style of slow-fast-slow-fast, each of the movements develops its unique motive or subject, and its continuo plays an important role. The entire composition of the sonata can be said to be harmony-based rather than melody-based. F. Devienne's Sonata in F Major is based on the traditional style and consists of three movements. The first movement has two subjects, the second has a simple structure of ABA', and the third consists of the Rondo form of fast tempo. F. Poulenc Sonata for Flute and Piano consists of three movements. The first movement expresses quick music grievously, the second represents Cantilena and repeatedly uses the subject, and in the third movement, unlike the two previous movements, a flute and a piano are played alternately and in the latter half the subject of the first movement is introduced, builds a melancholy atmosphere, and then comes to an end with brightness and vivaciousness. F. Borne's Carmen-Fantasie fu˝r Flo˝te und klavier derives the subject of G. Bizet's opera Carmen and arranges it technically, presnets a sequence of widely-known Havanera, chanson de Bohe｀me and chanson de tore´ador in the form of variation, which makes us feel familiarity in a splendid atmosphere.
