STAD와 JigsawⅠ을 적용한 고등학교 음악 감상 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

오늘날의 음악교육은 음악교육의 중요한 목표인 미학적 경험을 바탕으로 한 음악성과 창의성의 계발을 과제로 한다. 또한 음악교육은 다양한 음악활동을 통해 학생들이 가지고 있는 감정을 표현할 수 있도록 하며 삶의 질을 높이고, 어느 한 분야에 치우치지 않은 전인적인 인간을 추구한다. 그러나 현재 우리나라 음악교육의 현실은 교사 주도의 강의식 수업 방식, 음악교과의 특성에 맞는 교수방법의 부족으로 음악교육의 목적을 잘 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 교수방법으로 협동학습을 들 수 있다. 협동학습은 전통적인 교수-학습 이론의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 대안으로써 등장하였고 교육현장에 적용될 때 기대되는 효과가 커 제7차 음악과 교육과정에서도 협동학습의 필요성을 제기하고 있다. 협동학습은 학생들에게 여러 음악적 활동을 통해 음악의 즐거움과 가치를 알게 하는데 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있으며 인지적 효과뿐만 아니라 정의적 효과도 강조되므로 음악 감상 수업 방법에 있어서 효과적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 고등학교 1학년 음악 감상 수업에 있어서 협동학습 모형을 적용한 교수-학습 방안을 제시하고 실제 학교 현장에 적용하여 지도안의 효용성을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 광주광역시 소재 K고등학교에 재학 중인 고등학교 1학년 남, 여학생이다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 협동학습에 대한 선행연구를 통해 협동학습의 개념, 기본 원리 및 특징을 연구하였다. 다음으로 제7차 음악과 교육과정 중 감상 영역을 분석하고 감상 수업에 적용하기 적절한 협동학습 모형을 중심으로 교수-학습 지도안을 개발하였다. 제시된 교수-학습 지도안을 고등학교 1학년 37명을 대상으로 실제 수업에 적용한 후 개별 형성평가, 모둠별 향상점수, 설문조사를 통해 지도안의 효용성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 협동학습을 적용한 음악 감상 수업은 구성원간의 다양한 모둠활동을 통한 협동과정을 통해 상호작용을 경험하게 함으로써 학습자의 음악 감상에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 둘째, 협동학습을 적용한 음악 감상 수업은 학생들이 음악을 이해하고 다양한 음악적 경험을 하는데 긍정적인 영향을 준다. 셋째, 협동학습을 적용한 결과 모둠활동을 통해 수업에 대한 흥미가 높아졌으며 자기 주도적 학습 능력 및 협동학습 능력이 향상되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합하면, 고등학교 1학년을 대상으로 협동학습 모형을 적용한 음악 감상 학습은 인지적·정의적 영역에서 모두 긍정적인 효과가 있었다고 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 또한 음악 수업에 있어서 협동학습은 모둠 구성원 간의 협동을 통한 다양한 음악활동을 적극적으로 이끌어낼 수 있으며 모둠활동에 참여하는 과정을 통해 자기 주도적 학습 능력 및 협동학습 능력이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구는 광주광역시 소재 K고등학교 학생을 대상으로 하며 2차시라는 비교적 짧은 수업을 통해 얻은 결과물을 바탕으로 하기 때문에 그 적용 범위가 제한적이다. 따라서 음악 감상교육에 있어서 협동학습의 효용성 정도를 보다 정확히 판단하기 위해서는 향후 연구대상의 범위, 연구기간에 대한 확대연구가 필요할 것으로 예상된다.;Current music education has its purpose on developing students' musicality and creativity based on the aesthetic experiences. Thus music education is aimed at encouraging students to express their feelings through a variety of music activities, heightening their quality of lives, and nurturing them as well-rounded people. However, the dominance of teacher-directed method and the lack of applicable alternatives have impeded the achievement of such goals in music education. Cooperative learning, as an alternative teaching method, emphasizes studying together with group members in order to accomplish common objectives. Cooperative learning as a desirable teaching-learning method for music education, is emphasized in the 7th National Curriculum with high expectation of its effectiveness when applied to classroom situation. Cooperative learning is regarded having a positive impact on pupils' appreciation of the pleasure and value of music through participating diverse music activities as well as being effective in both affective and cognitive domains. The purpose of this study is to apply cooperative learning model to teaching a 10th grade music appreciation class, and discover the effectiveness of the teaching plan. The subjects are 10th grade male and female students at Gwang-ju Art highschool. This study primarily examined concepts, basic principles and characteristics of cooperative learning in music class through prior researches on cooperative learning. Subsequently, the area dealt in music appreciation in the 7th National Curriculum was examined, and the appropriate teaching plan was made in the application of an appropriate model of cooperative learning. This was applied to actual classes in the 10th grade consisting of 37 students and the effectiveness of the teaching plan was verified through the data of formative evaluation, group improvement, and survey. The result of this study is as follows. First, a music teaching lesson applying cooperative learning method has a positive influence on students' music appreciation through interactions in varied group activity. Second, music appreciation class applying cooperative learning method has a positive effect on students' comprehension and various experience of music. Third, as a result of appreciation class that has applied cooperative learning method, students have higher interests toward the class and enhanced self directed learning and group learning skills. Putting together the study results above, music appreciation teaching applying a cooperative learning model for 10th grade students turned out to have positive effects in both cognitive and affective domains. Besides, cooperative learning in music education could evoke students' active participation in various music activities through collaboration among group members and self directed and cooperative learning skills were strengthened through the process of group activities. However, because this is a result of a short-term research which was practiced in a High School in Gwang-ju City, its implications are considerably limited. Therefore, the research period, subject of study, and content of teaching plan need to be improved in the next research in order to get more exact results on the effects of cooperative learning on the music appreciation capabilities of students.
