무선인터넷용 도서검색 및 대출예약 기능의 구현

Abstract

As the number of mobile communication subscriber increase and the usage of internet spreads all over the would, a derivative wireless internet service combined with the above service becomes generalized. Although wireless internet service has disadvantages in terms of speed of delivering data and possible quantity of delivering data compared with wire internet, the mobility of wireless internet brings users more advantage to overcome the problems. Therefore wireless internet is expected to grow and develop rapidly. The incumbent wireless internet is being developed and commercialized in the diversified types of service, even though text type of contents are mainly used in the current market. Furthermore, Wireless internet will be evaluated as an essential tool, if voice file type and moving picture will be supported efficiently. In this research, this system enables to searching and reservation for borrowing in digital library through mobile telephone. This system enables students who can not have access to internet to search for the list of book, the students wants to borrow, with cellular phone in the library while they are outside or inside. Moreover, this system can make a reservation features for borrowing books through cellular phone the user wants to borrow. I expect this system to help students enjoy more convenience to the digital library.;전 세계적으로 인터넷의 폭발적이 보급과 최근 이동통신 가입자가 급속히 증가하면서 이를 결합한 새로운 형태의 무선 인터넷 서비스가 보편화되고 있다. 무선 인터넷 서비스는 일반 인터넷에 비해 전송용량 및 속도 면에서 제한을 가지고 있으나 이동성이라는 커다란 장점을 가지고 있어 급속히 신장, 발전할 것이다. 현재 해외뿐만 아니라 국내무선인터넷의 서비스는 급속도로 활성화되고 있다. 현재 무선 인터넷 서비스는 여러 형태로 개발, 상용화되고 있으며 아직은 텍스트위주의 정보제공 수준이지만 동영상 및 음성 파일 등 멀티미디어 파일이 고속으로 원활히 지원이 되며 현재 인터넷 이상으로 우리생활에 필요한 요소로 자리잡을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 서비스 중의 하나로 도서검색 및 대출 예약 기능을 구현하였다. 이는 학교 도서관내의 찾고자 하는 도서를 무선 인터넷을 통하여 검색할 수 있고 검색된 도서에 대해 핸드폰을 통해 무선으로 대출예약의 기능을 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 학생들이 인터넷에 접속할 수 없는 환경에서도 또는 이동을 하면서도 학교 도서관 내의 도서를 핸드폰으로 손쉽게 검색할 수 있으며 무선 상으로 대출까지 예약해 놓을 수 있어 매우 유용하다. 이와 같이 무선 인터넷을 학교 시스템에 적극 도입함으로써 학생들의 생활에 편의를 주고 향후 이를 더 확장, 발전시킬 수 있다. 또한 기능 구현의 방식은 세계적인 표준인 WAP 방식을 따르고 있어 사용의 편의 및 유지, 보수가 용이하다.
