무선 인터넷을 지원하는 신문 기사 수집 및 검색 서비스 기능의 구현

Abstract

The Korean dot com companies have played major role in surviving Korean economy plummeted to the crisis of foreign currency that caused Korea to be under control of IMF in 1998. However, their status is recently changed from the hero to culprit bringing out the second crisis of foreign currency in Korean economy. Why is the dot com companies' status changed in a short time? I believe even though there are many causes, the principal factor is that dot com companies don't have an independent revenue model in relation with meeting break even point. In order to get over absence of revenue model, leading dot com companies suggest two alternatives. The one is to charge internet company which needs contents by providing qualified contents, Another is to cultivate new business area such as wireless internet instead of saturated wire internet. I developed two S/Ws helping dot com company find out revenue model in my paper. They will be able to be applied to directly dot com companies. The first S/W is realized of making use of Power builder, which enables collected Data Base from web or each contents provider to be stored in dot com companies' server. The key word searching type will be adopted in the course of collecting Data Base. The second S/W is developed with Java Server Page, which delivers the stored data base in dot companies' server to the each users through wireless internet such as cellular phone, PDA and Hand Held PC. I realize the above function only in the field of News Article so as to simplify an explanation of revenue model, even though it is possible the function to be applied to all kinds of Data Base.;본 논문에서는 컨텐츠를 신문 사이트에서 얻어 와서 가공하여 다시 사용자들에게 서비스하는 시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 요즘 벤쳐 기업들이 어려움을 겪는 것은 투자자들의 도움 없이 자생적으로 운영 할 수 있는 수익성 모델의 부재로 기인한 것이다. 수익성 모델의 부재라는 문제점은 인터넷에서 정보를 얻는 것은 모두 무료라는 네티즌들의 인식이 뿌리 깊이 박혀있기 때문에 네티즌을 상대로 기존에 무료로 제공되어진 정보에 대하여 새삼스럽게 과금을 하는 컨텐츠의 유료화 사업은 용이하지 않은 것이 현실이므로 유일한 해결책은 바로 기업 간 거래를 상대로 한 컨텐츠의 유료화라 하겠다. 또한 기업 간 거래를 통한 컨텐츠 유료화와 아울러 수익성 사업의 모델로서 떠오르고 있는 새로운 사업의 장이 무선인터넷 분야이다. 유선 인터넷이라는 신규 사업이 일반 대중에게 소개되어진 짧은 연륜에 비하여 급속한 성장을 기록함으로서 이미 포화상태에 다다른 유선 인터넷 시장의 제한된 사업 영역을 극복할 수 있는 대안으로 제시되고 있는 것이 바로 무선 인터넷이다. 무선 인터넷은 기존의 유선 인터넷과 달리 때와 장소를 가리지 않고 인터넷에 접속을 하여 마음껏 정보의 바다를 항해 할 수 있도록 하는 편이성과 신송성에 있어서 벤쳐 기업들에게 새로운 수익성 모델로 여겨지고 있다. 위와 같은 사업 모델들이 현 IT업계에 화두로 대두되고 있는 현 시점에서 컨텐츠 유료화, 무선 인터넷의 활성화 같은 수익성 모델을 고찰을 하여 보고 이 수익성 모델들이 현 벤쳐 업계에 적용될 수 있을 거시라 예측되어지는 기술들을 본인의 논문에서 구현을 하여보고자 한다. 먼저 컨텐츠 유료화와 관련을 하여 컨텐츠 공급자들로부터 확보된 컨텐츠를 데이터베이스화하여 무선이나 유선으로 희망하는 인터넷 사용자에게 서비스되도록 하는 기능을 구현하고자 한다. 특히 본 논문에서는 인터넷 상에 산재되어있는 다량의 컨텐츠들 가운데 신문 기사라는 영역에 한정을 두어 구현을 하고자 하나 만약 이 기술을 여타의 컨텐츠에 적용을 하고자 한다면 모든 종류의 컨텐츠에도 적용이 가능함을 밝혀둔다.
