영아의 기질, 조기교육경험,어머니의 취업여부에 따른 어린이집 초기적응에서의 문제 행동

Abstract

본 연구는 만 2세 영아의 기질, 영아의 조기교육경험 그리고 어머니의 취업여부에 따라 어린이집 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동이 어떻게 나타나는 지를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 위해 본 연구에서 설정된 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 만 2세 영아의 어린이집 초기 적응에서 나타나는 문제행동의 유형은 어떠한가? 2. 영아의 기질에 따른 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동은 어떠한가? 3. 영아의 조기 교육 경험에 따른 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동은 어떠한가? 4. 어머니의 취업여부에 따른 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동은 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울, 경기지역 어린이집의 만 2세 영아 258명의 어머니와 어린이집 담임 교사를 대상으로 하였으며, 연구 방법으로는 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 만 2세 영아의 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동에 관한 교사용 설문지와 영아의 기질에 대한 부모용 설문지 두 종류를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 상관관계, F검증 및 t검증을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 만 2세 영아의 어린이집 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동에 대해 알아본 결과, 문제행동의 하위 요인 중에서 위축 행동이 가장 많이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 그 다음으로 공격적 행동, 반항적 행동, 정서 불안 행동, 미성숙 행동의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 만 2세 영아의 어린이집 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동과 영아의 기질과의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동은 기질의 9개 하위 요인 중에서 적응성, 기분, 활동 수준과 유의미한 상관관계를 보이고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 위축 행동이 유의미한 상관관계를 가진 기질의 하위 요인이 가장 많았다. 셋째, 만 2세 영아의 조기 교육 경험에 따른 어린이집 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동에 대하여 알아본 결과, 어린이집에 입학하기 이전 문화센터에서 조기 교육을 받은 영아의 경우 조기 교육을 받지 않은 영아와 타 어린이집을 다닌 경험이 있는 영아들보다 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동을 더 많이 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니의 취업 유무에 따른 만 2세 영아의 어린이집 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동에 대하여 알아본 결과, 어머니의 취업 유무와 초기 적응에서의 문제 행동과는 유의한 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this research is to inquire into the relationship between todders' temperaments, preceding education and employment of a mother and toddlers' initial adapting problem behaviors at day care centers. Regarding the above main purpose, the proposed questions are as follows: 1. What are toddlers' problem behaviors in initial adapting at day care centers? 2. What is the relationship between toddlers' temperaments and their problem behaviors in initial adapting at day care centers? 3. How do toddlers' problem behaviors in initial adapting at day care centers change according to toddlers' preceding education ? 4. How do toddlers' problem behaviors in initial adapting at day care centers change according to the employment of their mothers ? The subjects of this research are 258 toddlers who are attending day care centers in Seoul & Kyung gi do. In order to measure toddlers' problem behaviors, the researcher used Bo-Young Kim's toddler problem behaviors checklist that adapted TBC(Toddler Behavior Check list) , which was designed by Larzelere, Amberson and Martin in 1998. The researcher used Nan-Sil Kim's toddlers' temperament checklist that adapted TTQ (Toddlers temperament Questionnaires) , which was designed by Fullard , Mcdevitt and Carey in 1984. The researcher analyzed the collected data by average, standard deviation, correlation analysis, F verificatin and T verification by using the program spss 12.0. The results of this study are as follows: First, shy behavior is the most prominent problem behavior in initial adapting at day care center followed by oppositional behavior, aggressive behavior, emotional instability and imnaturity. Second, the sub-factors of toddlers' temperaments (adaptability, activity level, quality of mood) are meaningfully interrelated to problem behavior in initial adapting at day care centers. Especially, Shy behaviors have more related temperament-subfactors than other problem behaviors. Third, Toddlers' educated in private have more problem behaviors than the others who have no early education or have been at other day-care centers. Forth, There is no meaningful relationship between problem behaviors and mother's employment.
