중학교 1학년 음악교과 창작영역의 효율적 지도방안

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the creative area in the Music textbook for 7th grade students, which conforms to the 7th elementary & secondary curriculum revised on December 30, 1997 (bulletin No.1997-15, the Education Ministry), and to search for appropriate teaching method for effective creative activity. To support a theoretical basis of this study, educational significance of originality and the relationship between music and originality are considered preferentially, and then the creative area of contents and activities in 9 kinds of middle school music textbooks which is based on the 7th elementary & secondary music curriculum are investigated. Based on the analyses, efficient teaching method that first-line educators can apply in the field is proposed. The summarized results of analyses concerning the creative area in all 9 kinds of middle school music textbooks conforming to the 7th elementary & secondary music curriculum are as follows: Firstly, there were great differences in contents of the creative area among each textbook. Secondly, the majority of the textbooks required to practice learning activities of the creative area without explaining the contents of learning activities in details. Lastly, the proportion of activities in the creative area of the National Classical Music was insignificant in comparison with that of activities in the creative area of the Western music. Based on the results of analysis, efficient teaching method, which is accessible by stages, with detailed explanation and instruction is suggested. The efficient teaching method which emphasizes the creative activities connected with the education of originality is classified into three procedures as follows: First procedure is to practice rhythms through dividing given rhythms into syncopation, triplet and metrical rhythm. Second procedure is to create rhythms by learning the concept of beat through the time value of notes and distinguishing six-eights time from three-quarters time. Last procedure is ‘making melody’ on primary triad using rhythms and beats which are learned by preceding procedures. My suggestion in this study is merely one of the various alternative teaching methods. Efficient creative activities can be accomplished only when it is attended with teacher’s initiative effort and having respect for each student’s originality. It is to be hoped that the suggested teaching method would be helpful to teacher’s systematic creative teaching method.;본 연구는 1997. 12. 30 (교육부 고시 제1997-15호)에 개정된 7차 초·중등학교 교육과정 중 중학교 1학년 음악 교과서의 창작영역을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 효과적인 창작활동을 위한 지도 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 이론적인 기초를 마련하기 위해 우선 창의성의 교육적인 의의와 음악과 창의성의 관계에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고 제7차 중학교 음악과 교육과정에 명시된 창작 내용체계에 근거하여 현재까지 사용되고 있는 중학교 9종 교과서의 창작영역 내용 및 활동에 대해 분석을 하였다. 이것을 바탕으로 교육자들이 실제 교육 현장에서 사용할 수 있는 창작활동의 효율적 지도방안을 제시해 보았다. 제7차 음악과 교육과정에 따른 중학교 9종 음악 교과서의 창작영역을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창작영역의 내용이 교과서마다 편차가 심하다. 둘째, 창작영역의 학습활동에 대한 내용에 있어서 구체적인 설명을 수반하지 않은 채 활동을 요구하는 경우가 대부분이다. 셋째, 국악 창작영역의 비중은 서양음악 창작영역의 활동 빈도수에 비해 미비하다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 구체적인 설명 및 지시를 포함하여 단계적으로 접근 가능한 창의성 교육 지도 방안을 모색해 보았다. 창의성 교육과 연계된 창작활동을 강조하는 효율적인 지도방안은 총 3차시로, 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악의 기본요소가 되는 리듬 중에서도 당김음과, 셋잇단음표, 정박(正拍)리듬을 음악을 듣고, 구분하는 과정을 통해 리듬을 익힐 수 있도록 하였다. 둘째, 음의 시가를 통해 박자의 개념을 알고 8분의 6박자와 4분의 3박자를 구분하여 박자에 따른 리듬 창작이 가능할 수 있도록 하였다. 셋째, 앞에서 선행학습을 통해 이해한 리듬과 박자를 통해 주요 3 화음 위에 ‘가락짓기’ 활동을 하도록 하였다. 이 연구에서 마련한 지도방안은 여러 대안 중 하나의 가능성만을 제시한 것이다. 교사의 능동적인 노력과 학생 개개인의 창의성을 인정하는 것이 수반되어야 효율적인 창작활동 시간이 이루어질 것이다. 교사들의 체계적인 창작 지도에 도움이 되길 바란다.
