호주의 케링케 아트를 응용한 아동복 일러스트레이션 연구

Abstract

Fashion illustration has been developing as the value and sense of the beauty that has been changing the method of expression and materials. Now fashion illustration is not just painting but it means the image of fashion, art acting that connects between people, society and the culture and this creative study must try to keep going so that it will increase the value of presence through creative expression materials and methods. Therefore, this study has expressed the splendid color in Kid's clothes focused on character of the Native Australian as the embossed sculpture in three-dimensional effect Modern fashion illustration usually focuses on adult's clothes so we cannot see the kid's fashion illustration easily. Because the kid's fashion illustration hasn't demanded yet, I want to put it in a place where it is more unique and more special so I made it by using the method of embossed sculpture focusing on the feeling of sense of sight and touch and as the native Australian's colorful color, I tried to express the cuteness and delighted mood of the kid's clothes. The contents and way of the study is the first, I searched the concept and the history of the fashion illustration through the searching kinds of books in abroad and domestic. And after I has studied the function and usage of the fashion illustration, I have considered the pictures and various formation of expression image. Second, I examined the general meaning and a special feature of the Keringke art in the theoretical consideration and applied fun textiles using the native Australian's color. Third, I put my best on making splendid color of the native Australian's. I expressed it as the embossed sculpture by clay, colored by crayons and acrylic, used by a felt-tipped pen and colored pencils in detail. And also I used the lace, crushed rock, paper together to make special patterns. Through this theoretical research the conclusion of one's research will be as follows. The beautiful colors that the Australian native's project in their conversation harmonize with nature and become the main source of inspiration in not only illustration but in the future also in the textile industry. With this basic theoretical background the conclusion of one's research will be as follows. First, by applying Keringke art's colorful and unique textiles into child fashion illustration has formed a fun visual once again confirming it as a great strength. Second, clay has been used to portray a visual expression. The child fashion illustration happens with a relief technique and to apply visual expression there is a possibility of giving the material feeling expression! Third, Australian native's colorful painting connect naturally with the textile of children' clothing forming valuable data creating a new motive in children' design Lately, I emphasized the clearing and polishing, the mark of the glass that way Kid's illustration printed into glass. And I restored express by hand painting, found chances to express fashion illustrations on various material through mass-produced digital printing experiment This research focusing on clay material with the inspiration of Australian natives' paining used in children' fashion illustration has showed both colorful and artistic visual expression proving artistic value.;패션일러스트레이션은 그 시대의 가치관과 미의식 등 다양한 제반 여건에 따라 수없이 많은 변화를 이루고 있다. 현대 패션 일러스트레이션 영역에서 어른들을 위한 패션일러스트레이션은 많이 나오고 있지만 아동복 일러스트레이션의 비중은 아주 미비하여 새로운 시도와 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 점토의 소재와 부조적인 기법을 통해 패션 일러스트레이션을 창출하여 아동복 일러스트레이션의 표현 영역을 확장하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적은, 호주 케링케 아트의 화려한 색채와 문양을 점토공예에 의한 부조적 표현을 통해 아동복이 담고 있는 주제를 시각화함으로써 작품의 이미지를 보다 효과적으로 전달하여 일러스트레이션 표현 영역의 새로운 표현방법을 제시하는데 있다. 연구의 내용 및 방법은 첫째, 국내외 문헌 조사를 통해 패션 일러스트레이션의 개념과 그 역사를 살펴보고, 패션 일러스트레이션의 표현기법과 현대 패션에 나타난 아동복 일러스트레이션을 통해 사진 자료와 이미지 표현의 다양한 유형들을 고찰 하였다. 둘째, 호주 케링케 아트의 이론적인 고찰에서는 호주 원주민 회화에 대한 일반적인 개념과 역사를 살펴보고, 호주 원주민 회화의 한 표현 장르인 케링케 아트의 독특한 조형적 특징들을 고찰하였다. 셋째, 점토의 부조적 표현에서는 점토의 특성과 표현기법을 알아보고, 부조적 특성과 일러스트레이션의 작품 사례를 살펴보았다. 넷째, 작품 제작은 호주 케링케 아트의 화려한 문양을 최대한 살리는데 중점을 두었다. 표현 방법으로는 점토를 이용한 부조 기법을 중심으로 제작하였고 채색은 크레파스, 아크릴 물감을 사용하였으며, 세부적인 묘사가 필요한 경우 사인펜과 색연필 등을 사용하였다. 이와 같은, 이론적 배경을 기본으로 한 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 호주 케링케 아트의 화려한 색채와 원시적인 문양을 아동복 일러스트레이션에 적용하여 재미있는 시각효과를 높이고, 이 색채와 문양이 아동복을 표현하기에 적합한 요소임을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 점토공예에 의한 부조기법을 아동복 일러스트레이션에 활용하여 입체적인 감각으로 표현 할 수 있었고, 평면적인 그림보다는 더욱 효과적으로 시각적인 이미지를 전달하는데 적합한 기법임을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 아동복 일러스트레이션의 의상 디자인을 실제 아동복 디자인에 연결시키려는 시도가 새로운 아동복 디자인의 귀중한 자료가 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 아동복 일러스트레이션을 유리에 디지털 프린팅 함으로써 유리의 특성인 투명함과 광택감을 살릴 수 있었다. 그리고 손으로만 채색했던 표현의 한계를 넘어 대량 생산이 가능하고 디지털 프린팅 기법의 소재실험을 통해 다양한 소재에 패션 일러스트레이션이 표현될 수 있는 가능성을 발견 하였다. 본 연구를 통해, 호주 케링케 아트를 응용한 아동복 일러스트레이션이 점토의 재질감을 이용하여 제작된 것은 시각적인 부분에서 새로운 시도였다. 또한 원작품의 부조적 표현은 수공예 작품으로 산업화 보급에 한계가 있으나 제작물을 다른 소재에도 디지털 프린팅 함으로써 산업화 가능성 확인과, 앞으로 다른 분야의 예술품으로도 더욱 발전 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
