한국과 일본의 중ㆍ고등학교 과학 교과서 예시적 비교연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 제7차 교육과정에 의한 과학 교과서의 지구과학 영역과 일본의 현재 교육과정에 의한 과학 교과서의 지구과학 영역에서 제시하고 있는 교과 내용의 단원 구성을 분석해보고, 학년이 높아지고 학습 내용이 심화됨에 따라 학습자의 이해를 돕고 학습관련지식을 효과적인 습득, 비판적 사고의 촉진, 자발적이고 자연적인 지식 발생을 도와 학습자의 지식 획득을 극대화 시키는데 보조 학습 자료의 중요성을 인식하여 이를 비교ㆍ분석하기 위하여, 양국의 지구과학 ⅠㆍⅡ교과서에서 다루고 있는 주요 공통개념을 선정하고 그에 따른 보조 자료들과의 연계성을 분석하였다. 먼저 교과서별로 제시된 교과 내용의 단원 구성을 살펴보기 위하여 양국의 교과서 내용을 3학년부터 10학년 까지 분류하고, 각 국의 학년별 학습하는 내용을 비교ㆍ분석하였다. 다음으로 앞의 3학년부터 10학년까지 비교ㆍ분석한 내용을 바탕으로 지구과학 ⅠㆍⅡ까지 계속적으로 연계되는 양국의 영역별 주요공통 개념을 2~3개 선정하고, 그에 따르는 보조 학습 자료를 소주제, 보조개념, 표상형식, 활동, 부수적 자료, 문항 등 6가지 항목으로 분류하여 그 수를 파악하여 비교․분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 우리나라의 경우 지구과학 영역을 처음 학습함에 있어 분야별로 골고루 내용을 학습하는데 일본의 경우는 대기분야만을 처음 학습하는 등 학습의 순서에는 차이를 보인다. 둘째, '기초조작'에 있어 우리나라는 주로 교과서의 맨 마지막 부분인 부록을 이용하지만 일본의 경우는 실험 사이사이에 새로운 기구나 장치가 사용될 때마다 자세히 설명을 하고 있다. 셋째, 우리나라의 경우 지구과학 영역 중 분야별 학습 내용이 고루 포함되어있지만, 일본의 경우는 눈에 띄게 지질과 천문의 학습 내용을 많이 포함하고 있으며, 대기와 해양의 경우는 적은 양을 포함시키고 있다. 넷째, 보조 학습 자료의 경우 지질 영역을 제외한 다른 영역에서는 우리나라가 많은 수의 보조 학습 자료를 포함하고 있다.;The purpose of this project was to analyze the construction of the unit on the earth science field in the textbook by the 7th educational procedure in Korea and current educational procedure in Japan, So according to going to higher grade and deeper story to help understanding of learners, to learn knowledge of study with effect, to accelerate getting critical thinking, to help self-activity and natural knowledge origination and maximizing getting knowledge of learners, we recognize assistant data, and to compare, analyze those things, select main common notions on earth science IㆍII in both countries and analyze relation of assistant data. First of all we classify contents on a scale of 3 grade to 10 grade in both country's text book to know the construction on presentation. Next we got the results below, stand on that classify contents, select continuing contents until earth science IㆍII to notions 2-3 , according to that notions, classify to small subject, assistant notions, a symbol form, activity, incidental data, sentence , and grasp the figure. At first, in case of Korea, if we learn earth science first, we learn every contents of earth science, but in Japan they learn atmosphere section first. Second, when we are doing 'basic proceed' , we usually use appendix in the very end of text book, they explain everytime when they got some sources like tools and equips. Third, there are evenly spread every section in the earth science in Korea, there are almost about geologic and astronomic features, a little bit about atmospheric and oceanic. Fourth, in the assistant data there are lots of data except geologic field in Korea.
