비즈장식을 이용한 의상디자인

Abstract

현대에는 각 개인의 개성이 강하게 표현되며 또한 개성이 강한 것을 요구하고 있으며 이러한 시대의 흐름에 따라 의생활에서도 다양한 패턴을 요구하게 되었다. 비즈(beads)는 작은 열매나 씨앗등을 이용한 원시시대 장식품을 제외하고 가장 오래된 복식 장식품으로서, 고대 이집트인의 무덤에서 발견된 것이 가장 오래된 것이며 구멍이 뚫린 모든 재료를 망라한 구슬의 총칭이라 할 수 있다. 고대로 부터 근세에 이르기까지 값비싼 보석류의 비즈가 왕이나 왕족, 귀족들의 복식에 국한되어 장식되었고, 또한 호화로운 비즈장식으로 신분적인 권위나 재력을 과시하기도 하였다. 근대와 현대전기로 들어오면서 비즈는 주로 이브닝 드레스, 웨딩 드레스, 칵테일 드레스, 무대의상 등의 특수복에 장식되었으나, 50년대 이후 값싼 유리나 플라스틱 종류의 비즈가 다양하게 대량생산되고 있어 의상에서 특수복 뿐만 아니라 일상복에도 비즈가 장식 활용되기 시작하였다. 그러나 60, 70년대를 거치면서 비즈장식이 디자이너들에게 애용되지는 못하여 특수복에 주로 장식되고 일상복에는 부분적으로만 조금씩 사용되었다. 80년대 이후 패션은 고전적 분위기와 낭만적 분위기가 유행하고 그와 함께 의상에 비즈가 밀리 장식되고 있고, 또 본 논문에서는 의상에 있어 가장 애용되는 표현소재로서 내적 욕구를 충족시켜 주는 꽃을 모티브로 선택하였다. 꽃을 모티브로 하여 비즈를 미적 조형감각을 통해 장식한 작품제작에서 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비즈장식을 이용한 디자인은 부가가치가 높은 상품으로서의 개발과 고급화된 고가품을 생산하는데 좋은 방법이 될 수 있다. 둘째, 실루엣을 단순한 형태로 디자인함으로써 비즈장식의 효과를 높일 수 있다. 셋째, 수공예적인 기법을 이용하므로 예술적인 의상디자인을 개발할 수 있다. 넷째, 비즈장식을 통한 표현방법은 회화적인 표현, 부조적인 표현 등 그 표현 방법이 풍부하다. 다섯째, 자수나 아프리케, 퀼팅 등 다양한 섬유예술방법을 비즈장식과 함께 사용하여 현대 의생활의 다양한 요구에 부응할 수 있다. 여섯째, 꽃이 지니는 아름다움과 비즈장식의 화려하고 고급스러운 분위기로 더욱 아름다운 의상을 제작할 수 있다.;Today, each person's individuality is expressed strongly and individuality also needs something strong, According to such a flood of times, diverse patterns are needed also in the environment of costume. Beads are oldest costume ornaments except the ornaments of primitire times which used small berries or seeds, and the oldest beads are founded in a tomb of ancient Egypt. From ancient times to modern times, the beads which were made of expensive jewels were ornamented confinely to the costume of king, the royal family and the nobility, and also the authority or financial power of status was expressed by lusury beads ornaments. Entering into the modern times and the first period of present time, the beads were ornamented in the special clothes of evening dress, wedding dress, cocktail dress and stage costume, but after 1950's the beads of glass and plastic were mass producted variously and beads became ornamented and applicated not only in the special clothes but also in the everyday dress. After 1950's classical style and romantic style were come into fashion and beads are ornamented largely also in the costume. So in this paper, as a best used expression material, flowers which satisfies man's desire of ornamentation with inner and external beauty was choosed as a motive. And the direction of this study is to develope a costume design which has highly added value through a mojlding sense of beauty and by ornamenting the motive of flowers with a technique of high-class beads.
