國民學校 敎師의 價値觀에 관한 연구

Abstract

교육은 그에 종사하고 있는 교사가 자기 직업에 대한 태도 및 가치관, 그리고 그를 생각하는 수준 이상의 것이 되지는 못한다. 아동을 둘러 싼 교사가 무엇을 생각하고, 어떻게 행동하느냐에 따라서 아동들의 행동특성이 결정적인 영향을 받는다. 특히 학교교육이 시작되는 국민학교 아동기는 인간의 성격 형성에 가장 밑받침이 되는 시기이므로 교사의 행동특성이 아동에 미치는 영향이 대단히 큰 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 국민학교 교사를 대상으로 국민학교 교사들의 지배적 가치관과 성별 및 연령별 가치관의 차이를 알아보고, 아울러 교사의 자질에 따른 가치관과의 관계를 알아 보고자 함이 목적이다. 가치관에 관한 정의는 여러 학자들에 의하여 정의되고 있으나, 본 논문에서는 가치관이란 개인에게 내면화된 문화규범이 어떤 향향 감각을 갖고 일반화되고 조직화된 개념에 따르려 한다. 가치관 측정에는 F.R.Kluckhohn의 가치관 모형을 배경으로 한 가치관 척도를 사용하였고, 교사 자질측정은 박용헌 제작인 교사자질 검사 (Ⅰ) (Ⅱ)를 사용하였으며, 표집은 서울특별시 S구의 12개교의 국민학교 교사 약 200여명을 대상으로 표집하였고, 자료처리는 성별·연령별의 차를 Or검증으로 하였다. 연구 결과에서 얻은 결론으로는 국민학교 교사들의 지배적인 가치관이 나타났고, 성별·연령별의 가치관의 차이가 보이며, 또 교사의 자질에 따른 가치관과의 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.;Education cannot be more than the teachers attitude to their profession. Their value-orientation they have and what they think education is. The children's behavior is definitely affected by now their teacher's think and act. Especially in elemetary school days when the children's character is basically formed, the behavior their teacher show gives much influence the children. The purpose of this study is to know what is the dominant value orientation of elementary school teacher's to found out what different value orientation they have according to their sex and age, and to know the relationship between the quality and value orientation a teacher has. Many scholar have shown their own different notion on the deffinition of value orientation-however in this study I follow the definition- The value orientation is how the internalized cultural standard of an individual is generalized and organized with a certain direction. To measure value orientation in their study F.R.Kluckhohn's value-Orientation model was used, and in measuring the teacher's quality young Hun Park's methods were used. The data were collected from about 200 teacher's of 12 elementary school in S-ku, Seoul. Crtest was adopted for arranging the data which were classified according to sex and age. By the result of this study next three points have been cleared. First the dominant value orientation of elementary school teacher's has shown. Second, the value Orientation is different according to sex and age. Third, there is some relationship between the quality and value orientation of teacher's.
