지퍼를 이용한 의상디자인 연구

Abstract

According as the democratic society is formed and the life becomes abundant, the decorative nature ana esthetic appreciation nature that the clothes have got to be requested more strongly rather than the position expression and practical goal. And, the modern cloting design came to fore as the sense industry for satisfying the period demand of diversification and individualization as the creative role of new lifestyle. Thus, in the philosophy of modern clothing design, the ideological function to realize the psiritual sense with physical form and the practical need to satisty the practical need are required simultaneously. What satisfies the tendency of this modern clothing design is multipurpose dress and its ornaments. Then, it is classified into what emphasized the scientific function and what pursues the diversification of plasticity. The goal of this study is to satisty the diverse aesthetic desire of moderns with the diverse changes of silhouette in 1 piece of clothing by means of the use of the zipper to have the decorative nature and practical function by focusing on seeking the diversification of plasticity rather than the physical function as the multipurpose to satisty the tendency of modern clothing design. As for the contents and method of this study, this researcher examined about the history and kind of zipper and concept and type of silhoutte through the literature study as the theoretical background. And, this researcher examined the modern clothing design which used the zipper and work tendency which intended the silhouette change, through the visual data about modern clothing design. Through the use of zipper on the basis of this, this researcher manufactured total 8 pieces of real thing works by focusing on the change of shihouette of the dress and its ornaments attendant upon the opening and closing of zipper. To Synthesize the resule of this study is as follows: First, it was confirmed that the zipper is the material which is suitable for seeking the silhouette change is which there is the plastic beauty through the function of opening and closing. Second, silhouette change could be given by the detail as well as the change of external outline. Third, the possibility of infinite silhouette change was confirmed, in accordance with the position, length and kind of zipper, through the draping course. Fourth, as for zipper, the expansion possibility of the utilization range was recognized as the expression medium of design of the dress and its ornaments, owing to the aesthitic and practical functionality that the zipper has. In this study, this researcher examined the change of silhouette from the viewpoint of function to open and close the zipper and the decorative viewpoint. But, this researcher hopes that the study through the development of other clothing elements and other side materials etd. will continue. In addition, I think that the possibility as the art fabric that the deocrative nature was added strongly in addition to the existing work to use zipper is the part to have to study also.;민주사회가 되고 생활이 윤택해짐에 따라 신분표현이나 실용적인 목적보다도 의복이 갖는 장식성, 심미성이 보다 강하게 요구되었고, 현대의 의상디자인은 새로운 생활양식의 창조적 역할로서의 다양화, 개성화의 시대적 요구를 충족시키기 위한 감각산업으로 대두되었다. 따라서, 현대 의상 디자인 철학은 물질적 형태로 정신적 지각을 실현시키는 이념적 기능과 실질적 필요를 충족시키는 실용적 기능이 동시에 요구된다. 이러한 현대 의상 디자인의 경향을 만족시켜 주는 것이 '다목적 복식'이며 물리적 기능을 강조한 것과 조형의 다양화를 추구하는 것으로 나누어진다. 본 연구는 현대 의상 디자인의 경향을 만족시켜 주는 '다목적 복식'으로서 물리적 기능보다 조형의 다양화를 추구하는데 촛점을 두어 장식성과 실용적 기능을 가진 지퍼를 이용하여, 1벌의 의상안에 다양한 실루엣의 변화로 현대인의 심미적 욕구를 충족시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 내용 및 방법은 이론적 배경으로서, 문헌적 연구를 통해 지퍼의 역사 및 종류, 특성, 실루엣의 개념과 유형에 대하여 알아보았고, 현대 의상 디자인에 관한 시각자료를 통하여, 지퍼를 이용한 현대 의상 디자인, 실루엣 변화를 의도한 작품경향을 알아보았다. 이를 바탕으로 지퍼를 이용, 지퍼의 개폐에 따른 복식 실루엣의 변화에 촛점을 맞춰 총 8점의 작품을 실물 제작하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지퍼는 그개폐기능을 통해 조형적 미가 담긴 실루엣 변화를 추구하는데 적합한 소재임이 확인되었다. 둘째, 실루엣 변화는 단순히 외형적 윤곽선의 변화 뿐 아니라 세부적인 디테일에 의해서도 변화를 줄 수 있었다. 셋째, 드레이핑(draping)과정을 통해서, 지퍼의 위치, 길이, 종류에 따라 무한한 실루엣 변화의 가능성이 확인되었다. 네째, 지퍼는 지퍼가 지닌 미적, 실용적 기능성으로 인해, 복식 디자인의 표현매체로서, 그 활용범위의 확대 가능성이 인식되었다. 본 연구에서는 동일한 소재를 통해 실루엣의 변화를 지퍼의 열고 닫음으로써의 실용적 기능과 장식적인 측면에서 살펴보았으나 다른 복식 요소와 다른 부자재의 개발을 통한 연구가 계속되기를 바란다. 또한, 지퍼를 이용한 기존의 작품 이외에 장식성을 강하게 부가한 아트 패브릭으로서의 가능성도 연구해야 할 부분이라고 생각된다.
