어린이를 위한 도제벽장식 연구

Abstract

과거와는 달리 근래에 와서는 어린이를 존중하는 아동관으로 말미암아 아동의 지적능력이나 성격은 선천적이라기 보다는 환경적 요인에 의해 상당히 많은 영향을 받는다는 사실을 인정하게 되었다. 아동환경이 얼마나 정서, 성장, 사회성 발달에 중요한지 연구되어 오고 있으며 앞으로도 계속 진행될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 아동의 인격형성에 적지 않은 영향을 주는 어린이를 위한 생활공간에 벽면을 활용한 벽장식을 부착함으로서 안정감과 예술적 표현감각발달에 도움이 되는 도제벽장식을 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 연구내용으로는 문헌과 통계자료를 통해서 어린이의 색과 형태심리 그리고 좋아하는 주제를 조사분석하여 어린이에게 호감가는 디자인에 대해 연구하였다. 연구방법은 국내외의 사진자료와 문헌을 통해 어린이를 위한 공간에 장식된 예를 찾아봄으로서 벽장식의 유형과 재료 등 자세한 사항을 조사분석하여 도제벽장식의 필요성과 장점을 알림으로서 어린이는 물론 어른에게까지 다양한 예술감각과 동심의 세계로 끌어 들여 어린이와 같은 순수성을 찾고자 하였다. 작품제작방법은 석고형을 이용한 이장주입성형과 압축성형(Solid casting)을 하였으며 어린이의 색기호도에 근거해서 고온안료를 사용하여 색채효과와 대상이 특정인 어린이라는 점에서 색배열과 장식을 이용해서 아동의 세계에 접근해 보려고 했다.;Recently, due to the growth of interest in and respect of children and childhood, we have come to acknowledge the fact that a child's intellectual ability or personality is not determined at birth, but rather is significantly affected by environmental factors. Research has teen and continues to be done on the importance of a child's environment in his emotional development, growth, and socialization. As a child's environmental space plays a significant role in his character development, the purpose of this study is to analyze the use of wall decorations for children. My focus will be on ceramic wall decorations and their use as aids towards developing an environment of stability and artistic creativity. Through the use of references and statistical data, the contents of this study include a discussion of designs that appeal to children based on the analysis of a child's psychological perception of color and shape. My methodology has been to review examples of spaces decorated for children found in domestic and foreign photographical data and references and analyze the details of the use of shape and materials in such wall decorations. Through this analysis, my intent has been to show the necessity and positive aspects of ceramic wall decorations, thus enabling children and adults alike to discover the innocence of childhood in an artistically expressive and childlike environment. My technique has been to use slip casting and solid casting with a plaster cast. Using high-temperature bodystains in colors that most appeal to children and keeping in mind that the color effect is directed specifically towards children, my color and decoration has been applied to create a childlike mood.
