해양생물을 모티브로 한 현대니트디자인 연구

Abstract

현대는 오랜 동안을 풍미해 온 옷의 개념에서 탈피하여 개성을 표현할 수 있는 의상에 대한 조형 활동이 끊임없이 이어지고 있다. 20세기에 접어들면서 의상은 단순히 기능성과 실용적인 측면만이 아니라 예술적인 차원인 순수조형으로 개인의 개성을 표현하는 수단이 되고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구자는 우리의 생존과 생활에 현실적으로 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 해양의 생물들의 이미지를 재구성하여 의상에 반영함으로써 의상을 조형예술로서 구축과 다양한 표현방법을 개발하여 표현영역을 확대하고자 하는 데 본 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이러한 목적을 위한 이론적 배경으로는 자연과 조형예술, 자연의 모티브 중 해양생물의 조형적 특성을 분석하였고 해양생물을 조형적으로 표현한 의상디자인을 예로 들었으며 작품의 소재인 니트의 일반적 고찰과 니트를 소재로 한 현대의상디자인을 예로 들었으며 이를 근거로 실제 작품을 제작하였다. 제작된 작품은 실물 8점의 작품을 제시하였으며 이러한 작품은 해양생물의 표면의 질감과 율동적인 형태를 효과적으로 표현하기 위해서 니트를 편직하였다. 또 해양생물의 구조적 특징과 질감 표현이 적절한 소재에서 입체감과 공간감을 형성할 수 있어 새로운 차원의 디자인을 창조해 보고자 한다.;People have continuously observed orders of all creatures in this world, expressed their own originalities with the result and created an impressional world of art. Through continuous working to express vivid oceanic creatures, I have tried to show one style of formative arts. Simultaneously in order to make a theocratical study about my works I have referenced many books concerned with formative arts. Now, I can suggest the conclusion below with eight works of women's knit wear. At first, the application of vivid oceanic creatures enabled us to express the mysterious vigor of all creatures in this world as one style of formative art. Second, modern technology was considered as one important method of expression for creative art. I used knit wear to strengthen artistic creativity and to show the great probability of formative expression. Third, texture knit wear showed wide probability as one style of formative art. Softness and flexibility as characteristics of knit wear are very proper to express structural features of vivid oceanic creatures. As researched above, through developing new materials and various methods, making cloth will widen the realm of expression as formative art. And we can create a more sophisticated world of formative art for making cloth, I believe, according to our will the pursuit to express abstraction and to add the value of artistic beauty to the utility of making cloth.
