청소년 단체의 사회교육적 기능에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 청소년단체의 사회교육적 기능에 대한 분석을 통하여 청소년단체의 보다 효과적인 사회교육적 기능과 역할의 방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 이론적 배경으로는 다음과 같이 제시한다. 1. 인간의 사회성과 교육은 무엇인가? 2. 현대사회에서 청소년문제는 무엇인가? 3. 청소년단체의 사회교육적 기능은 무엇인가? 사회조사로서는 대한 YMCA연맹, 서울 YWCA연합회, 태화기독교사회관, 청소년회관, 대한적십자사 청소년부, 한국 카톨릭학생회관 이상 여섯단체를 대상으로 교사용과 학생용으로 구분한 질문지를 통하여 실시하였다. 이와같은 연구결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 가. 단체의 실제적인 프로그램이 일반적인 교양과 오락적인 차원을 벗어나지 못하고 있고 청소년단체의 기능이 제대로 발휘되고 있지 못한 실정에 있음을 알 수 있다. 나. 청소년을 지도할 수 있는 자격있는 지도자의 부족은 심각하다. 다. 재원의 부족으로 인한 시설 교재의 불비로 인하여 충분한 교육 효과를 기대할 수 없다. 라. 가정 학교 사회 일반의 청소년단체의 인식과 올바른 이해가 부족하기 때문에 사회교육적 기능 수행에 많은 곤란을 겪고 있다. 따라서 청소년단체의 사회교육적 기능과 역할을 보다 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 국가적 차원에서 제도적 지원책이 마련되어야 할 것이며, 각 청소년 단체의 보다 적극적인 개선 노력이 필요하다.;This study intends to groups for an ideal way of effective social educational functions of the young generation, by analysing, social educations of functions of youths' groups. For that purpose, theoretical problems are suggested as follows : 1. What are the sociality of and education for, man-kind? 2. What are problems for the young generation in the modern society? 3. What are the social educational functions of youths' group? For this study, the two kinds of questionaires, one for students, the other for teachers, are utilized through the subjects of Korea YMCA League, Seoul YMCA Federation, Taewha Christian Society Hall, Juveniles' Hall, Korea Red Cross Youths' Department, Korea Catholic Students' Hall. The resultant findings are as follows : a. The practical programmes of them are confined only to general culture and mere recreation, and youths' groans are not effectively functioned. b. Sualified leaders for guiding teenagers are seriously lacking. c. A satisfactory educational effect can not be expected owing to insufficient facilities and teaching materials deriven from the scarcity of resources. d. The implementation of social educational functions is faced with difficulties, because homes, schools, and the society have not sufficient understanding of the young generation. For the purpose of effectively performing, the social educational functions of the young generation, it is desired that governmental nolicies for supporting the youths' groups should be provided, and every youths' group should exert themselves for improvement.
