사회교육센터 디자인 과정 및 방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대산업사회는 사회구성원간의 커뮤니케이션을 단절시키고 소외현상을 낳고 있으며 미래에 대한 확신과 긍정적인 발전에 대해서 회의감을 느끼게 한다. 이런 상황속에서 사회의 개개인은 자아주체감을 상실하고 세태에 이끌려 표류하며 자아성취에 대한 장애를 경험한다. 우리나라의 경우 제도권 교육을 끝낸 성인들에 재사회화나 재충전을 할 수 있는 공간이 마련되어 있지 못한 실정이다. 사설학원들에서 이루어지는 교육은 주로 상식과 지식의 습득에 치우치고 있으며 공간의 질도 열악한 상황이다. 성인들에게 예술문화에 대한 경험을 제공하거나 단순한 지식보다는 사유와 인격양성을 도모하는 공간이 절실히 요구됐다. 그리하여 본 연구는 이러한 성인들에게 문화교육을 제공하는 공간을 디자인하고자 한다. 디자인과정에서 외부환경, 건축적 형태, 내부환경에 대해 다루고자 하며 결과물을 위하여 사전문헌조사로는 사회교육에 대한 전반적인 고찰, 문화 활동과 성인교육의 관계를 알아보고 사회교육과 관련된 공간들을 직접 방문하여 프로그램에 대해 인터뷰를 실시하고 현황도 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 문헌조사를 토대로 대상지역에 대한 조사를 실시해서 공간을 계획하는 기초가 될 수 있도록 한다. 공간의 계획에는 필요공간에 대한 산출과 대안 설정 이후에 디자인의 기본적 개념의 도출이 필요하고 환경의 요구조건에 대한 고려가 있어야 한다. 기본적 개념화가 이루어지면 2가지 대안중에 한가지를 선정하여 이에 대한 외부환경배치도가 확정된 건축형태, 층별 평면을 디자인한다. 5층으로 이루어지며 아트리움을 설치하여 자연광을 유입한다. 외부에는 야외무대와 야외전시장을 두어 학습자의 경험을 넓혀준다. 전 과정은 항시 디자인의 진행과 함께 피드백을 실시하여 수정·보완작업을 하고 모든 과정이 끝난 후에 이를 종합해서 분석하여 연구에 대한 평가가 이루어진다. 과정을 항목별로 정리하면 아래와 같다. ˚ 연구의 목적과 범위, 방법에 대해서 언급하고 ˚ 사회교육의 전반적인 개념과 필요성을 알아보고 사회교육공간의 이용자인 성인학습자에 대한 정신적·신체적 특성에 대해 알아본다. ˚ 문화활동의 유형과 문화공간과 사회교육의 관계 및 지역에 기반을 둔 사회교육공간과 문화공간의 접목에 대해 고찰하고 ˚ 사회교육관련공간을 정부주도형과 언론기관주도형으로 선별해서 현황에 대해 분석하고 그에 따른 프로그램을 연구한다. ˚ 문헌조사와 사례분석을 토대로 대상지역에 대한 분석이 이루어지고 공간의 기본적인 틀이 도식화로서 갖추어진다. ˚ 사회교육공간에 대한 디자인이 체계적으로 이루어지고 마지막으로 종합 및 분석이 이루어진다. 위의 과정을 거친 사회교육공간은 사회교육과 문화공간의 유기적인 결합체이며 교육의 장에서 공연 및 전시가 동시에 이루어진다는데 그 유용성이 있다. 일본의 경우는 사회교육센터 자체도 활성화되어 있을 뿐 아니라 기업체에서 이러한 공간에 대한 관심이 커서 기업과 사회교육센터간의 교류도 이루어지고 있다. 일본과 마찬가지로 우리나라도 교육이나 학습에 대한 열기가 높아서 사회교육센터에 대한 전망은 밝은 편이다. 이러한 밝은 전망과 함께 교육학자와 실내디자이너간의 교류가 발전적으로 이루어지면 공간의 질도 더욱 향상되리라 생각한다.;In general, the modern industrial society terminates communications among social members to have them feel to be isolated and pessimistic about the strong belief in the future and affirmative development. As a result, most of the individuals in a ginven society have a tendency of losing their self-identification and facing obstacles for their self-improvement. In this context, adults completing their education in the established education institutes cannot have a space where they can have an opportunity to make themselves re-socialized or re-educated accordingly. in fact, the general educations from private institutions focus on the acquirement of common senses or knowledges without properly designed space in them, So a space where adults can pursue thoughts and thier character improvement rather than simple knowledges and be offered an experience of fine arts is needed more than ever. Therefore, this study aims at designing a space in which adults may be taught caltral education. External circumstances, building formations, and internal circumstances are dealt for the desist process. And, for the results, social educations are generally reviewed as a way of studying the literatures previously, the relation between cultural activities and adult educations is looked into, interviews are made on the programs of the space concerned with the social education where the author himself visits, and, finally, the present situations are analyzed. On the basis of the review on the literatures, target sites are explored to obtain the data for the space design. For designing the space, the calculation of the space needed and the exploration of the basic concept after preparing its alternatives are required and the needs of circumstances should be taken into consideration. On the conditions said above, a conceptional schema on the building. formation and its plains can be developed. Once the basic conception develops, one alternative is selected out of the two and external circumstance layout, established building formation, and plains of each floor begin to be designed for the selected alternative. The target space will consist of five floors equipped with atriums through which natural lights can be poured in. outdoor stages and outdoor exhibition halls are established for the learners to expand their tearing experience. The whole process is always supposed to receive the feedback of modification and supplementation from the ongoing design. After the completion of the whole process, it is synthesized and analyzed to estimate the study. The processes can be summarized as follows: - The object, scope, and methods of the study are introduced. - The general concepts and necessities of the social education and also the mental and physical characteristics of the adult learners who will use, the space of social education are reviewed. - The types of cultural activities, the relation between the cultural sapce and the social education, and the combination of the social education spaces founded locally and the cultural space are looked into. - Classifing the space concerned with the social education into the government-oriented and the press-oriented types, its present situations are analyzed and its programs are examined. - The target sites are analyzed and schema for the basic frame of space is getting finished on the bases of literature reviews and case study. - The design for the social education space is getting completed systematically and, finally, its synthesis and analysis are carried out. The space for the social education undergoing the processes said above is the form mixed with the social education and the cultural space: Its usefulness is that performance and exhibition can be held at the same time in the field of education. In Japan, for example, not simply are the social education centers themselves utilized well, but also there are various exchanges between companies and the centers because Japanese companies show a great interest in such a space. Likewise, the future of our social education centers is very affirmative since we also are concerned about education or study as much as Japaneses. If any exchange between the interior designer and the educators develops favorably with such a bright prospect, the quality of the space cannot but be improved.
