아동 일러스트레이션의 표현방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

A juvenile is likely to be influenced by surroundings with its birth. Good environment and the opportunity for visual satisfaction should be abundantly offered to juveniles who accept many things with their development of feeling and perception. But there is the necessity of fairy tales which give dreams and hopes to growing juveniles in modern aridd emotion and in social system being complicated everyday. Juveniles begin to read fairy tales because of their illustrations and the illustration plays the role which interests juveniles disliking simplicity and repetition in the world of imaginative and fantastic story. Thus, the purpose of this study to interest juveniles with expressive method of human body for the sake of understanding and pursuation about human body which is adopted most in illustrations. According to Gudinif, when juveniles are got to draw something which they would like to, most of them draw man. For, juveniles think images of their bodies firstt of all and them the other's image against their own. And therefore, I would like to express a human body as one of motives which form sympathy with juveniles. I intended to express the illustration which is well understandable to juveniles through the expression of human body which emphaiszes the interpretation of illustratior, not the reproduction of a human body.;아동이란 출생과 더불어 주위환경에서 많은 영향을 받기 쉬운 존재이다. 감각과 지각이 발달하면서 많은 것을 받아들이는 아동들에게 좋은 환경이 제공되어야 하며 시각적인 만족을 줄 기회를 많이 제공되어야 한다. 그러나 날로 복잡해져만 가는 사회구조 속에 현대인의 메마른 정서속에서 자라나는 아동들에게 꿈과 희망을 불어 넣어주는 동화의 필요성이 있다고 하겠다. 아동이 동화책을 읽기 시작하는 것은 거기에 일러스트레이션이 있기 때문이며 일러스트레이션은 단조로움이나 반복을 좋아하지 않은 아동들에게 상상력과 환상적인 이야기의 세계로 끌어들이는 역할을 해야 한다. 이에 본 논문은 아동들에게 가장 그림에 많이 인용되는 인체에 대해서 일러스트레이션을 통해 이해되기 쉽도록하며 설득력 있는 다양한 인체표현 방법으로 흥미를 줄 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 구디니프(Goodenough, F.)에 의하면 아동이란 무엇이든지 그리고 싶은 것을 그리라고 하면 대개는 인물을 그린다는 것이다. 이것은 어린이란 자기몸의 이미지를 생각하기 때문이다. 그러므로 작품 제작에 있어서 아동과 공감대를 형성해주는 하나의 모티브로 인체를 표현하고자 한다. 인체의 재현이 아닌 일러스트레이터의 해석을 강조한 인체표현을 통해 아동들에게 이해하기 쉬운 일러스트레이션을 표현하고자 하였다.
