陶磁製를 이용한 裝身具 제작에 관한 연구

Abstract

Nowadays, People are getting more interested in the personal outfittings. There have been a trend that most people of our country have preferred to jewelry and its value due to the noble-centered culture of personal outfittings and the periodical uncertainty caused by the frequent wars. But the range and the concept of the outfittings are getting wider due to the affect of individual society changed quickly. Since the outfittings with the materials and design have been already developed variously in this world-wide times, the upgraded personal outfittings are demanded as much as their individuality. Under the basic theme that I try to create the beauty of new personal outfittings which can be made of the soil, this study have the purpose that the personal outfittings which could be the modeling of the personal outfittings itself like a painting and sculpture work beyond the thought of accessories to make ourselves more beautiful can be created and designed. In the background of the theory, I study the general concept of outfittings and their originality and the historical flow. Prior to mentioning my trial works, I study the typical structure and various kinds of personal ooutfittings which are used for the basic data for my works. In addition to this, I did the market research of visiting the department stores and the market of whole sales. I study their characteristic and development based upon the result of market research. Avoiding the reproduction of them, in the procedure of my works, I make them in the various ways which are pinching, slab construction, press forming, throwing, coiling and so on in order to have a value of hand-made industrial art. In the final procedure, I try to create the new beauty of modeling with the combination of other materials. Finally, it is possible to develop the modeling of the personal outfittings which can include the characteristics of purity and flexibility of the soil and it is demanded to develope the creating the design to decrease the brokage. Since I have focused on the design to show the pure modeling through my study, I have recognized that I did not study on their weigth and practical usages. Therefore, if the study on this to reinforce this insufficiency of them can be deepened, it is possible to make the ceramic personal outfittings to satisfy users' desire for beauty as a pure modeling.;現代 사람들의 裝身具에 대한 관심은 날로 높아가고 있다. 우리 나라는 역사적으로 귀족 중심의 裝身具 文化를 배경으로 잦은 전쟁으로 인한 시대의 불안감이 貴金屬만을 선호하고 가치성을 인정하는 풍조를 유발시켰다. 그러나 급변하는 産業社會의 영향으로 裝身具의 槪念과 범위가 넓어지고 있다. 이미 장신구의 材質과 디자인이 國際化 시대에 다각도로 發達되기 시작 했으며, 個個人의 個性 만큼이나 수준 높은 장신구가 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 본 硏究는 흙이라고 하는 自然에서 얻은 새로운 장신구의 美를 追求한다는 方向아래 人體를 장식하거나 의상을 마무리짓는 장신구의 역할과 더불어 회화나 조각 작품같이 장신구 자체의 조형성을 나타낼수 있는 도자재 장신구를 제작하고자 한다. 이에 理論的 배경으로 장신구의 일반적인 槪念에 대해 알아보고 장신구의 起源과 흐름을 알아보기 위해 한국장신구의 역사를 살펴보았다. 또한 시작품 제작에 앞서 장신구의 種類와 구성을 검토 作品 製作의 기초 자료로 삼았다. 또한 현재 장신구의 現況을 파악하기 위해 백화점 및 장신구 도매시장등을 들러보며 조사했으며 그 결과에서 얻은 자료로 현 장신구의 發達과 특징을 알아보았고, 도자재 장신구의 실정을 확인하여 그 필요성을 인식하였다. 작품제작은 복제품의 생산을 피하고 수공예적인 가치를 지니기 위하여, 핀칭 (pinching), 점토판성형, 가압성형, 물레성형, 코일링 (coiling)등의 방법으로 각각 제작하여, 마지막 과정에서 타재료와의 결합으로 새로운 조형미를 추구하였다. 이러한 過程을 通하여 흙이 갖고 있는 순수성과 유연성등의 특징을 발휘할 수 있고 조형성이 무한한 도자재 장신구 제작을 시도하였다. 그 결과, 순수한 조형성을 나타낼수 있는 디자인에 치중하여 무게와 실용성에 대한 충분한 검토가 부족하였는데 이러한 결점을 보완하기 위한 연구를 계속한다면 순수조형물로써 착용자의 미적욕구를 만족시킬수 있는 도자재장신구의 제작이 가능하다 하겠다.
