四角形의 反復에 의한 階造的 表現에 관한 硏究

Abstract

우리들 인간생활의 기본을 이룩하고 있는 의식주에 있어서 실용적인 가치와 더불어 미적가치가 중요하다. 예술은 미를 탐구하고 창조하는 것을 목적으로 삼으며 미라는 것은 시각 또는 청각을 통해서 인식되는 대상이므로 그것은 구체적으로 눈 또는 귀로서 들을 수 있도록 형상화 해야만 하는 것이다. 표현이란 작가의 직관 속에 이룩되는 것으로 한 작품의 내용은 그 작가의 표현의도라 정의 할 수 있으며, 예술가는 그 자신을 표현함에 있어서 하나의 형식을 창조하고 그 고유한 심상을 구체화시키는 과정에서는 추상적 관념을 바탕으로 예술가의 의도, 직관 등이 표현 되어져야 한다. 따라서 본 연구자는 염색 작품속에서 사각형의 반복에 의한 구성과 다양한 색채를 절제있는 화면으로 분할하여 계조적인 표현을 추구함으로써 연구자의 내면세계를 표현하려는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이론적 배경으로는 기하학적 형태의 개념과 형성원리로는 반복(repetion), 계조(gradation)에 대하여 고찰해보고자 한다. 작품제작 및 분석에 있어서는 사각형의 반복에 의한 계조를 표현하려 하므로 실질적으로 주어진 사각형을 규칙적으로 짜임새 있게 배치하여 형태의 단순함을 지루하지 않게 반복시키고, 색채로써 면의 겹침과 율동으로 변화시켜 화면전체의 단계적인 조화를 주었다. 이에 표현의 목적을 위한 소재의 선택과 작품을 제작하기 위한 표현기법 등에 대해 서술하고 이를 바탕으로 7개의 실제작품을 분석하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사각형은 현대의 규격화, 복제화를 표현할 수 있는 적절한 소재였다. 둘째, 처음부터 색채를 계획하여 계조적으로 율동을 반복시킨 사각형의 조화는 표현을 하는데 있어서 많은 주의를 필요로 하였다. 세째, 하나의 염색작품으로 완결되기 위한 마무리 작업에서 배접상의 문제점을 철저히 파악하고 연구 노력해야겠다. 이 같은 결론을 토대로 한 염색작품을 통해 인간현실에 영향을 미치는 새로운 가능성을 창조하고 모색해야겠다.;In food, clothing and shelter which are basic in the life of human being, the aesthetic value is as much important as the practical value. The purpose of art is to create and to inquire into beauty and the beauty should take form concretely through eye and acoustic sense as it is an object that could be cognized through visual sensation and hearing sense as expression is formed in the intuition of an artist, the substance of a work can be defined as an intention of expression of an artist. Artist creates a style in the course of expressing himself and in the process of giving concrete form to his own idea, the intention and intuition of artist should be expressed on the basis of abstract concept. Accordingly, the purpose of the study is to express the inner world of the present researcher by studying gradation expression through construction by repetition of tetragon and partitioning of various colors in moderate canvas in dyeing works. With theoretical background, concept of optical pattern and abstract painting were examined and also, general concept of line and plane as formative clement and Repetition and Gradation as formative principle were studied. In the production and analysis of work, given tetragons were arranged regulary and compactly for the expression of gradation by repetition of tetragon. And through the repetition of simplicity of form without being monotonous, and change of them into folding and rythm of plane with colors, overall canvas was given a feeling of gradual harmony. In dadition, selection of materials for the purpose of expression and expression techniques for the production of work were described. Through analysis of 7 pieces of works, on the basis of the result of the study the conclusion drawn are as follows. First, tetragon was Proper materials for expressing the standardization and duplication of the modern times. Second, for the harmony of tetragons which have repetition of rythm in gradation with colors in mind from the beginning, much attention have to be paid in the expression. Third, in the finishing work in which a piece of dyeing work is to be completed, the problems found in "Bae-Jub" should thoroughly examined and solved. On the basis of the conclusion, new chances shall be created and searched that a piece of dyeing work can exert influence on the reality of human life.
