선을 이용한 직물날염 디자인 연구

Abstract

As dyeing technique has developed together with the growth of mechanical civilization, the range or sphere of researching for it has been enlarged, enabling it to take the position as plastic arts, which can be regarded as a result from incessant efforts that many industrial artists have made. In industrial arts of dyeing design, the content of the designs, that is, the substance of industrial arts as well as its technique diversification have functional relations with its technique. And also excellent work can be produced only if the design and technique are coincided with each other. In addition, dyding design should give such base as to contribute to industrial society, developing its characters as an industrial art at the same time. In this respeet, recognizing this historieal trend, I, the author, aimed to search for possibilities of extending its realm to the higher level of industrial arts when unique dyeing works are commercialized as an exploiting of textile printing works produced by abstractive expression and making use of lines, the essential factor of formation. As theoritical backgrounds for this study, summary of textile printing and the lines as formative abstraet expression were examined. And in the part on work creation and analysisr I studied on formation factors, materials and producing proeessi and then analyzed the work by suggesting its picture completed through the process. Finally I was able to come to the conclusions from these as follows: First, I could recognize that pursuit for abstractive formation of lines as a means of showing a creative will and individual pattern of expression has a changeable and diverse formative significance. Second, textile printing skills can exploit multi items and small quantity stystem escaping from the principle of mass production for commercial purpose. Therefore we have to keep making every endeavor to improve better designs unique. Third, I can to know that to get precise knowledge on form the material selection to treatment precess after dyeing as well as to master producing skills are necessary for its practical use in our life. That is, to make a work needs such skills as mixing ratio of dye and catalytic material with consideration of the changes in the brightness and muddy degree of eolors after washing, perfect evaporation heat and adhesion treatment. Fourth, through the experimental study of this work, I was able to convince that it's possible to produce to order for semi-mass produced manual artistic works of good quality if minium system to manufacture is equipped. In conclusion I will develop further study upon anything insufficient shown in the study, and try to output new designs, and furthermore contribute to industralize dyeing designs, leading consumers taste to better direction and making the items higher graded.;기계문명의 발달과 더불어 염색기술이 발달하고 현대에 와서는 그의 연구범위나 영역이 확대되어 심미적 목적에서 제작되는 조형예술로서의 위치를 정립하게됨은 공예가들의 부단한 노력의 결실이다. 염색공예는 기법의 다양화는 물론, 공예의 본질인 심미성, 기능성이 기법과 일치됨으로서 우수한 작품이 창조되는 것이다. 또한 염색공예는 공예로서의 발전과 더불어 산업사회에 기여할 수 있는 모체가 되어야 하겠다. 이에 본 연구자는 이러한 시대적 흐름을 인식하여 조형의 기본요소인 線의 추상표현에 의한 독창적인 염색작품이 제품화되었을 경우 차원높은 산업공예로 확대의 가능성을 모색하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구를 위한 이론적 기반으로는 직물날염의 개요와 조형적 추상표현요소로서의 선에 관하여 고찰하였으며, 작품제작 및 분석에서는 형성요소와 재료 및 제작과정에 관하여 연구하였고, 이를 통하여 제작 완성된 작품 사진을 제시하여 분석하였다. 이 과정을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 선의 추상적 형상화의 추구는 창조적 의지와 개성적 표현양식의 수단으로써 변화있고 다양한 조형적 의의가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 날염기법은 상업성을 위한 대량생산의 충족에서 벗어나 다품종 소량생산 체제도 가능함으로 독창적 디자인의 개발을 위한 노력을 계속 추구하여야 함을 느꼈다. 셋째, 작품의 실용화를 위해서는 재료의 선택에서부터 염색 후의 처리과정까지 정확한 지식과 아울러 제작기술의 숙련이 필요함을 인식하게 되었다. 즉, 수세후 색상의 명도와 채도의 변화를 감안한 염료와 호료의 혼합비율과 완벽한 증열 및 고착처리가 필요하였다. 넷째, 본 작품의 실험연구를 통하여 최소한의 시설만 갖추면 충분히 주문생산이 가능한 半量産的인 양질의 수공예 제품이 가능하다는 확신을 갖게 되었다. 결론적으로 모든 제작 및 연구과정에 대한 미흡한 점들은 앞으로 연구정신의 계기로 삼아 새로운 디자인을 창출하고 더 나아가서는 소비자의 취향을 조사하면서 제품을 고급화시켜 염색공예의 산업화에 더욱 기여하겠다.
