植物의 이미지를 반영한 花器디자인 硏究

Abstract

人間生活과 植物은 不可分의 관계를 유지하고 있으며 특히 植物은 생태계를 左右하는 중요한 요인으로서 人類의 역사 以前부터 存在해 왔다. 그러나 文化가 발전함에 따라 人間은 植物과 직접 접촉할 기회가 점점 줄어들고 반면에 人間이 살고 있는 生活環境은 여러가지 의미에서 植物과 같은 自然物이 부여할 수 있는 精神的인 休息이 필요하다. 本 硏究에서는 이와같이 生活空間속에 아름다운 環境을 조성하기 위하여 自然物의 일종인 植物의 이미지를 花器 디자인에 반영함으로써 단지 꽃을 꽂는 容器로서만의 機能이 아니라 室內空間에서도 自然의 이미지를 느낄 수 있는 裝飾性과 實用性을 兼備한 花器, 특히 植物에 內在된 美的要素를 표현한 花器 디자인 硏究를 하는데 그 目的이 있다. 硏究의 內容으로 植物의 이미지가 반영된 花器 디자인을 위해 植物 중에서 꽃과 잎의 形態的 特性 및 줄기의 形態的 特性에 관해 조사, 분석하였으며, 花器의 發生과 變遷 및 花器 디자인에 대한 硏究를 하였다. 花器 디자인 過程에 있어서 첫번째 작품에서는 植物의 사실적인 이미지를 나타내었고 차츰 植物의 形態를 정돈된 線으로 단순화시켜 봄으로써 여러측면에서의 植物의 이미지를 花器라는 空間 裝飾物에 표현 하고자 한다. 花器의 製作은 器物의 형상은 같지만 크기를 변화하여 반복의 효과를 주어서 花器칙 機能的 조건을 고려하면서도 空間 裝飾性의 역활과 實用性을 겸비한 세트로 된 花器를 製作하였다. 그 製作方法에 있어서는 석고틀에 의한 이장주입成形을 主로 하였으며, 반면에 植物의 사실적 이미지로 表現되는 花器는 물레에 의한 成形方法으로 하여 植物의 이미지를 여러 각도로 나타내고자 하였다. 즉, 植物의 잎의 이미지 表現에 있어서 群集狀態를 作品에 나타내고자 形象은 같지만 사이즈의 변화를 2 ~ 5가지로 하여 製作을 하였으며, 같은 잎일지라도 잎의 葉先, 葉脈 및 葉緣 즉, 葉의 構造的 特性을 각각 강조하여 造形化 하였으며 특히, 本 硏究者가 조사한 內容인 葉의 形態 中 心臟形과 線形을 作品에 應用하여 製作하였다. 이와같이 作品製作에 있어 形象은 같지만 作品크기에 다양한 변화를 주어 製作했기 때문에 다소 어려움은 있었으나 그럼으로써 새로운 作品製作 過程을 터득하게 되었고 많은 경험을 하게 되었다. 그리고 施釉와 燒成은 作品의 特性에 따라 달리 하였으며 특히, 釉藥에 있어서 소금유약 소성방법 및 白Matt釉로 燒成하여 식힌후 먹물로 表面에 Crack을 넣는 方法과 카오링, 알루미나, 블랙안료를 섞어 容器에 넣어 구워서 분쇄한 후에 그것을 白Matt釉에 섞어 施釉하는 方法을 作品의 特性을 고려하여 각각 적용하였다. 이와같이 人間의 生活周邊에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 植物이지만 그것을 作品化하는 過程을 통해 자세히 관찰하고 조사함으로써 自然物에 대한 충분한 理解의 단계를 거친 후 意味를 부여해야 만이 그 作品이 感動을 줄 수 있다는 것을 本 硏究를 통해 알게 되었다.;Plant has an inseparable reBationship with human life, which has especially esisted even before the history of mankind as a significant factor to control an ecosystem. But the more coulture has been advanced, the less our opportunities to get in a direct toueh with plant has been made, while living circumstance of humanbeing's come to need more mental rest which can be supplied by nature like plant. Through this study, I've intended to search for the ceramic design not only with decorative and practical use for enabling us to feel the image of nature even in a room, but with a containing use for flowering, especially the design which expresses esthetic character immanent in the plant, in order to form a beautiful surroundings around the living space by reflecting the image of plant, one of nature, on the design of the flower vase. For the design as the content of this study, I've searched for and analyzed morphologic character of flowers and leaves of a plant, and studied the occurrence, change and design of the flower vases. In the designing process, the first work representing realistic image of the plant, I tried to express diverse plant image on the vase, a container for decorating space through observing the form of plant from a geometrical viewpoint step by step. And I produced a set of flower vases with an objective character of lots of space decorative utility while considered their functional condition by changing their sizes and thus offering them with repetitive effect to overcome the same forms that the have. As for this forming process, I used mainly plaster easting method, while for the folwer vase expressed as the realistic image of plant, I used forming method by wheel so as to represent plant image from diverse angles. That is, on the expression of plant leaf's image, to express the gathered state on the work although it is the same figure, the variety of size was made by two to five kinds. Although it is the same leaf, it's line, vein and green. which are leaf's structural characters were moulded with emphasis. Especially in leaf's shape which this researcher studied, heart shape and line shape were applied to this work. Like this, there was a little difficulty in making this work with same shape but with various work size, but through this new process of work manufacturing was understood and many experiences were given. And glazing and firing the method of salt glaze firing and white Matt glazong were used and then cooled and Chinese ink was cracked on the surface was applied. Also, the glazing method of mixing caoring, alumima, black paint into the container and burning and smashing to pieces and mixing it with white Matt glaze was applied in the consideration of work's character. Like such, the fact that work will give more, though the plant is easily to be seen around our surroundings, by throught looking and investigating process of making it to work enough understanding step of natural things, was known through this study.
